You might not have noticed, but this song has also multiple languages in it. This group showcases Philippine languages in all their songs, and our culture in their music videos, as the members themselves are all from different parts of the country. It's like singing both in standard Korean and different satoori in Korea, all in one song. 😊

I love this group too. They're my fave next to SB19. In fact in PPop Con last July 16 they were the 2nd to the last that performed before SB19. They did so well.

ALAMAT is a six-member boy band that stands out for being multilingual and multiethnic. They sing in seven Philippine languages, including Tagalog, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Bikolano, and Waray-Waray.
The members are named Taneo, Mo, Tomás, R-ji, Alas, and Jao, and their ages range from 20 to 25. Most of their recent songs (2022-2023) have English subs. Thank you! 🫶

I absolutely 💯 love ALAMAT because they always add a cultural flavor to their music 🎼. During the last dance they’re wearing traditional clothes. I love the MERMAID 🧜♀️ and beach 🏝️ concept.
