Congratulations for your new baby! It could be very exhausting and rewarding at the same time. My daughter only has 13 months and we are begining to return gradually to a "normal" life. 🙈
Glad to see you back, Mateusz. 👍 You've mentioned the use of a Pelikan Souverän on your latest illustrations, I hope You will show it in future streams I'd be curious to see it used.
I missed the stream but I'm happy to see you Matt! I'm doing inks on my sketchbook every now and then and found out that I also love Posca's black ink, so intense. Shame they don't have brush tips, for more flow I've been using Pentel's GFKP brushpen and I love the control but their ink is nowhere as pitch black as Posca's; it's very easy to tell which one is which and it's time consuming to do transitions. I see they got a new model, may be they changed their ink as well, I'll pick up a few new cartridges. I'm excited to see the book you, Kana and the collective of artists put together; been following the development from the beginning and your roster is an all-star one 🤩
Hey Matt, GABA is gamma-aminobutyric acid, it is a neurotransmitter that has its function in the brain and is basically supposed to relax you and make you happy. In Japanese green tea "Sencha", the GABA values can be increased through certain gentle processes. The tea is then offered as GABA Sencha. They actually have a buttery taste and are wonderfully relaxing.
Hey, welcome back! Streams of ink sounds good to me. You can never step into the same stream twice. (Oh stop it) Interesting that you are wrestling with the same thing that I have been for some time. I really want to get better with pen and ink and have bought a lot of similar pens to the ones you used in this stream. I'm liking the Zebra G pen nibs and some of the Kuretake Fudegokochi brush pens at the moment. The Platinum carbon ink is expensive - in England - but well worth it. Have you tried it in Platinum fountain pens? The Procyon is nice and not too expensive and the 'slip and seal' on the cap means it won't dry out and clog up. My other favourite waterproof ink for fountain pens is De Atramentis Document Ink, a lot cheaper than the Platinum Carbon but maybe that's because of location.
Children bring joy as I've told you on your blog. The first year though of our first child is the most demanding and exhausting of all. With the second child thing are much easier! All your pens look great though I think that the paper was a bit unsuitable as most of the inks looked a bit washed out on this paper. The manga dip pens are tricky to use so you will probably need a considerable amount of time and effort to master their use in the manga style if that is your intention after all. Manga is such a completely different kind of drawing. I personally find it a bit restrictive.
I'm soooo glad to see you uploading a clip on RUclips again! Can't wait to see your new work.

It is the first year of our first child that is the most difficult of all.
Knowing Matt will go back to his good ol’ Lamy with Sailor Waterproof ink! Nice to see you back ❤️

I’m glad I’ve get to see you on RUclips again. Been honestly looking towards your content.
You can use Platinum Carbon Ink cartridges in the Kuretake brush pen, those are 100% waterproof.
Glad to see you back, Mateusz. 👍

That's awesome knowledge, thanks!
