I bought one. It had an earth hum, unspoolable E and B strings as they had been cut too short to engage with the machineheads, and fret-ends that lacerated my hands. Gear4Music took it back and sent out a replacement straight away. Which is perfect, and I love it. Glad your turned out well too.

Got this today, and the intonation is fricked. I cant fret the lower E strings or the G strings without it losing tune. When I strum it unfretted, it sounds fine, but as those strings I mentioned, as soon as they're fretted its out of tune, so its basically unplayable. Any idea on how to fix this?
The lower E strings and G strings are quite slack, and seem to be very deep into the nut. Could it just be the strings?

This seems like a simple problem. Get it set up in a good guitar tech and itll sing like a bird! Good day!

They used to recommend tuning a 12 string down a couple of tones because of the extra tension so that an E chord was really C.
