  • SpaceX is performing a Wet Dress Rehearsal of the Fourth Starship Flight Stack. The stack was stacked just days ago, and based on information provided to residents, and regulatory paperwork, it is assumed that today´s test will be a WDR. The road is closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m..
    Before this, the stack has performed joined tanking tests.
    Booster 11:
    The Booster already features 33 Raptors. Booster 11 is the first stage for the fourth flight of Starship. The Booster previously was static fired once and performed two cryogenic pressure tests.

    Ship 29:
    Ship 29 is a Starship upper-stage prototype planned to launch on the fourth Starship flight test. It features three sea-level, and three vacuum raptor engines. It has performed two cryogenic proof tests, a spin prime test, and two static fire tests, of which one was with one and one with six raptor engines.

    If you don’t already you should offer a flight test patch set with all previous and new flight patches. I would think new viewers and us procrastinators would take advantage for the set.

    Unlike most other metals, gold never corrodes or tarnishes. Very old gold bars might look a little dark and grimy when you first get them, but this isn't due to tarnishing. The patina on gold bars is just dust or grime stuck to the surface of the gold.

    Flight 3 WDR was 10 days before the launch. So IFT4 is happening real soon

    • @DebraJean196
      @DebraJean196 Месяц назад +1

      This ship needs a little more work than ship 28 did when they did the WDR on that stack. There are still tiles missing and I imagine they will want to recheck some to make sure the full pressurization with super chilled gasses didn’t cause any loosening/damage

    • @Demi2210UA
      @Demi2210UA 29 дней назад

      It’s not a hint on when Flight 4 is launching. S29 still needs some TPS work and paperwork is also still ongoing so Flight 4 not in 10 days or even earlier

    Honestly I think I'm speaking for many when I say ´please keep up the amazing work regarding those flight patches, BUT if they all sell out for any particular flight, please make sure to order more of them next time you make one, otherwise you're just leaving money on the table. As was pointed out, already people can sell them to fans for more than they paid for them from your store, and that simply shouldn't happen. Until there comes a time where you're left with some unsold patches (knowing SpaceX that'll be IFT_insert_big_number), every flight's batch should be some percent bigger than the last one, just so everyone who wants to support you by buying one can.´

    If I were making the tough decisions for space x in regard to attempting any capture of either booster or ship…I would not attempt this until the second launch tower was functional…otherwise there is a reasonable risk of substantial damage to OLM:therefore, could create massive delays until one of the two
    OLM ‘s are functional

      The full stack is fully fueled a minute or so before launch, and they can hold for a bit. So I suppose they hold at full load to simulate that time (or at least part of it)
