Ink Me Up (Final Fest Version) - Splatoon 2

- I didn't see anybody just upload Ink Me Up without it being extended, so I decided to come around to it. It's not very different from the original version aside from some chanting from Callie and Marie in the middle. At the two minute mark for when this song was playing, the Squid Sisters' rendition of Now or Never would play, which of course, you know I squealed for. That version wasn't any different from the original, however.
I'll be uploading any other Splatoon songs that I haven't seen in high quality on RUclips yet. Stay tuned.

I only noticed today, that they still had the audio cues with who was leading in Splatoon 2. Callie was cheering if Chaos was in the lead and Marie was cheering if Order was the winning team. It's like in Splatoon 1.

@@Lucassaur0 No, sadly it was only played on the first day, on the second day a remix of Spicy Calamary Inkantation was played with a new remix of Now or Never from the Squid Sisters, and on the Final day the Nils tower theme (aka Fly Octo Fly - Ebb and Flow (Octo)) was played, also this theme is the only one that plays on MC Princess Diaries battle arena

I dont know why, but I really want to cry. The original splatoon meant a lot to me, and the splatfests made me feel like I was really IN that universe. I seriously adore this song 😂

@@gost4864 At around halfway in the match, in Splatoon 1, either Callie and Marie would call out depending on who is winning.

I still remember, on the first day of the Finalfest, I wasn't expecting this song to play. When the battle started and this song did as well, I had to take a moment to process what was going on. I never played Splatoon 1, but this made me feel like I was right there.

I think I actually shed a tear as soon as this music came on. Both combined with determination to win and for the nostalgia filling my head. I still remember the day I saw the trailer first play after the tournament and how I was freaking out.

This song makes me wish more than anything that I had been a Splatoon fan since the first game, I only started with Splatoon 3 and missed all of Splatoon 1 and 2's splatfests

I use a mod on my Switch that replacesthe BG noise for the Plaza with Colour Pulse and replaces some of the battle music with FinalFest music just because they made such great music for the event. Wish it were possible to get FOF to play in its entirety in public matches tho ;-;

I really hope they bring back Splatoon 1/2 splatfest battle tracks for 3’s Final Fest like they did here. (I mean, they’re already in the game files with the jukebox, it couldn’t be that hard surely)

It only played in the first day of the Final Fest. If you missed the first day, it's likely you didn't get to hear this one.
I unfortunately missed out on the entire splatfest because of the fact that I didn't have a switch therfore I didn't have Splatoon 2, plus I was out on a trip while the splatfest was happening so all I could do was watch the Livestreams and cheer team Choas on from the sidelines.

I went to the final fest and didn't even hear this or even know it was part of the song lineup. I'm immersurably disappointed and sad😢.
All the songs in the Final Fest played on certain days. I believe this, and the Spicy Calamari played on day 1. If you missed the first day of the fest, this is probably why.
