I just discovered this show due to a comment on a chelsea's video. And I can just say this a nice easter egg for us fans that didn't know about it (and perhaps one of the weirdest too haha)
It capitalizes on a certain fascination with Japanese 'weird TV,' with a Jabba the Hutt type character doing an Eric Andre-lite interview, and maybe elements of Space Ghost C2C. Absurd but intelligible, and less abusive. Gorburger gets in a few good lines, revealing hilarious aspects of his monstrous character in his articulate yet crude asides.
I am SO disturbed by what I'm watching right now! I might have nightmares I think...Reminds me of one of those weird 80s science fiction films!...like the Neverending story!!!
Cedric thought it'd be fun, Chelsea does need promotion, and talk are usually bland so they added a giant blue hair goofy monster to give it a gimmick. The Japanese people at the beginning are to give the big monster some kind of context. And, as a long time Volta/ATDI fan, I can confirm that afro is 100% real. Gorgeous, is it not?
