Thank you so much for the clear explanations and analogies in this video. I'm a Database Administrator so I'm mainly looking for content about SQL Server on ec2 instances and rds.
Hi Lee! Thanks for the nice comment! :) If you haven't already found it, I do have an RDS video that focuses on MS SQL Server (and connecting from SSMS). You might find it helpful: ruclips.net/video/vp_uulb5phM/видео.html.
Hi Legal! I've noted this down--thank you! And if you haven't already found it, I do have a "basics" video about RDS with SQL Server/SSMS that you might find helpful: ruclips.net/video/vp_uulb5phM/видео.html.

i took a 4 month course about the cloud. and i've learned more about vpc in this one video than i did the entire 4month course! I'm happily subscribing ! Thanks keep the vids coming
Taking the AWS CP course, and this just helped me out with understanding how a VPC works better since I am a visual learner. Parking lot analogy was wonderful. Thank you.
These 10min made up for my 2 years of skipping network classes at school. It's exactly what I was looking for, I am really grateful for this tuto thank you !
The best video on aws vpc with great examples and thank you for such a simple explanation..... It's so awesome... Such a complex topics you made me understand them with such a ease
Thank you so much for breaking this topic down! You don't know how much you rock! I've not seen a more simple and concise and complete explanation of VPC, NAT Gateway, NACL's a security groups pieced together in one video! I appreciate it! Be well, Be safe, See u in the next one! Cheers!
This is great content. Im just getting started with AWS and was looking for a short video that explains the very basics of a VPC. The video is well structured, the explanations are concise and easy to follow, and the redaction of the content is perfect. Thanks for the vid.
This video series is extremely awesome. I'm new to cloud and your videos helps me to really understand these topics. Thank you so much. Hope to see more of your content on AWS and other topics as well.
I have been watching all sorts of videos on RUclips about AWS, but I find your videos are the most easy and informative. Anyone who wants to do anything in AWS they should definitely watch these tutorials. I was struggling with a lot of things in AWS. Your videos have helped me clear my concepts and a few doubts as well.
You are very good. I have been in I.T. since 1990 and with enough sleep and a proper breakfast, I consider myself the best trainer I know. I loved your video. Great analogies, pace, and soothing voice. Top-notch.
John Lee! I'll take this as a huge compliment! 🥰 It takes quite a bit of coffee here too. ☕ Super appreciate the nice comment and support of the channel!
@@TinyTechnicalTutorials My pleasure. I just finished a GRC Audit course. My plan was to start a Qualys Vulnerability Management class and then AWS. Based on your excellent content, I may start AWS sooner than later.
I know this is like asking a Ford car salesperson where I can buy a Chevy, but do you know of anyone online like you teaching Azure? I ask because yesterday at work I learned things have changed and we are going down the Azure road instead of AWS.
Oh wow! Switcheroo! 😊 I actually used to teach Azure, but it's been years, and I don't have any current content. Your best bet is probably something like Udemy, searching for "Azure" and perusing some of the top-rated courses: www.udemy.com/courses/search/?src=ukw&q=azure. Here on RUclips, the freeCodeCamp folks are also really good, though it looks like their courses are mostly geared towards certification: ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=freecodecamp+azure. Microsoft also has tons of free training, though I don't personally find it to be super engaging 😁 : learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/azure/

An amazing tutorial, you have the right sense of teaching that directly gets in to the brain.... Thanks much and looking forward to learn more from you.....
I would love to see the Gateway family, all of them haha , your videos are great and the way you explain is amazing, specially the order, like, first little explanation, then more complex and the go to the console, live it
Thank you so much, Gio! You're very kind. :) I'll add the Gateway services to my list for future videos. They can be confusing for sure! I DO have a single slide that I've used in some of my courses that summarizes the different flavors of Storage Gateway: docs.google.com/presentation/d/1jIzn9zKatOdNvVlnBWC_nLVCn3WwxLGO_sZZ1x6ZyE8/edit?usp=sharing. I'm using WizLabs to take practice tests.. my first test was a 62% i think.... Wizlabs graded it a 92% .. even with over 10 answers wrong. I like the parking lot analogy. Had a question, Can you still route from the Private subnet say to an internal Company network. I assume that wouldn't route thru the internet gateway but maybe some other route. I guess would have to use the nat gateway for that.
Thanks, R! :) To connect your VPC to an internal network, you'd likely want to go with AWS site-to-site VPN through a virtual private gateway. More here, if it helps: docs.aws.amazon.com/vpn/latest/clientvpn-admin/scenario-onprem.html
This video explains the concept real well and helped me even though I have watched like 3 other top ranked videos on the subject. The slides were excellent and went well alongside presenting the aws vpc console.
Question: can private VPC communicate with each other? Also the best practice in using VPC. One for per region with many resources or one VPC per "topic" (micro service for example...).
Hi Frederik! 👋 Apologies...I'm super behind on comments! For VPCs to communicate with each other, you can set up VPC peering. I have a short video about that here: ruclips.net/video/ZFe70EZqU18/видео.html.
