Semproniano is the southernmost village of 1000 people of Monte Amiata, of medieval origin it develops around the remains of the Rocca Aldobrandesca.
The medieval village develops around the remains of the ancient Rocca Aldobrandesca, built around the middle of the 9th century but of which only a few ruins remain today. The walls, on the other hand, have been preserved because over the centuries it has been largely incorporated into the houses, of which it forms the perimeter wall. The village has been preserved in its original structure, made up of stone houses, stairways, narrow and winding alleys. Enjoy this hidden gem.
