- The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in the E350 models, delivering 255 horsepower. Both engines feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system with the electric motor generating up to 23 horsepower. The E450 models feature a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine with a combined output of 375 horsepower.
Both models offer all-wheel drive as standard, and the hybrid systems in the E-Class are designed to reduce turbo lag and enhance the auto start/stop system. All models are paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. While coil springs are standard, optional air suspension is also available.In terms of power and performance, the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class offer impressive options. Of the myriad of powertrain options available internationally with the new 5 Series, the base model 530i produces 255 horsepower and is available with rear or all-wheel drive. The 540i xDrive will feature a turbo-charged in-line six with 375 horsepower and standard all-wheel dive. Both models feature mild-hybrid tech.

I don't see any upscale design in that 5 series. It is really weird and BMW does not have consistency along it's line up anymore.. why leave plastic molding unpainted? So they can paint it when they do the mid-cycle refresh? Why is the huge difference in lights and interiors across all the models?
Back to brand identity, every BMW model has different lights and I can't even keep track of it anymore and I'm not even trying. One of their cars was really nice and I actually liked it but it ended up being a 2 series. To me that design blew away the 4 series design.
Although the design of this 5 series is decent, it's a lot better than that horrific 4 series with the huge assface/pig nose kidney grill in the front. I wouldn't touch that thing and they're bringing that grill to other models.
The new 7 series is terrible with it's squinted front lights +huge plastic bumper and kidney grill which makes it look like it has been in a wreck already. Looks like a bigger Dodge charger with a matchbox shape crossed with KITT from Knight Rider's lights. I don't care how much innovation is in a vehicle when it is an eyesore and terrible to look at
They really tried hard with the 7 series and surpass the S classes measurements by an inch to 2 inches. However, the S-Class still has more room inside and includes Mercedes brand identity.. if you want a bigger car, the long wheel S-Class is out now.
The problem here is so simple. Hyundai hired all of BMWs former design team which did a good job on the models and brand identity in the past
The new design team are amateurs and need to get fired immediately

Per me vince Mercedes..eleganza pura che ci vuole in questa categoria di auto “bmw sembra un auto da corsa” e poi dentro tecnologia molto più avanzata come sempre le Mercedes sono avanti di 10anni

@@AutoHellFN ho già deciso non ci voleva tanto..la stella è di un altro pianeta..classe ed eleganza come deve essere un auto di questo calibro e tecnologia avanti 10anni confronto a Bmw che sembra una macchina da corsa fast and furios e dentro praticamente ha fatto copia incolla del doppio schermo inventato da Mercedes che ora hanno anche auto cinesi e comunque di blasone molto inferiore..Mercedes a stravolto completamente la nuova classe E dentro e fuori bmw davanti è molto simile al modello precedente e dietro non cambia tanto dentro invece a messo la plancia di alcune altre bmw che già la montano tipo x5 restilyng XM serie 3 restyling ecc ecc nessuna novità..per finire Mercedes ha inventato le luci ambient per l’abitacolo ma sono fini e bellissime da vedere persino sulla classe A ma le fa già da oltre 15anni Bmw ora ha fatto quella banda così alta che sembra una giostra è troppo fastidiosa 🙈..comunque mi sa che di auto me ne intendo di più io ..è una passione che mi ha passato mio padre che ne ha comperare oltre 120 😂😂😂

@@AutoHellFN Ma magari..sarebbe il mio sogno..ho provato ad andare a lavorare per qualche concessionaria ma senza spinte difficilmente prendono..credo avete capito che sono appassionato e ho una preparazione molto elevata “per Mercedes so anche i bulloni” ma ne so tanto un pò di tutte..leggo sempre prendo informazioni mi piace proprio sapere cosa montano accessori tecnologia e guardare già avanti modelli che usciranno tra un anno due cinque..subito lo farei anche a gratis provo piacere a parlare di auto andrei avanti all’infinito
