I just watched the video of king pines roll back and realized that that is the most amount of people I’ve seen at king pine since a powder day. And even then it was just people going into the bracket basin
This is as close to sking without actually sking. And as I have said to others who post without stupid music, well done, the sound of the skies and snow is music.
I couldn’t agree more! The sound of skiing on different snow types gives you an idea of what the snow feels like on a given day. I’m doing these videos to re-live my skiing in the summer and the sound is a big part of that!
gopro hero 8 and I don't use anything for stabilization. I don't even use the hypersmooth setting, the hero 8 just looks this smooth on its own! Its a great action camera! I will say that wearing the gopro actually helps me improve my skiing technique, as when wearing it I am extra-focused on keeping my chest facing downhill at all times to keep the video from waving back and forth.
Gondola Line is double black, sluice is blue, king's landing is blue, whiffletree is blue and green, ramdown is blue, and narrow gauge is black. I prefer to keep the trail ratings out of the videos in hopes that if someone sees me ski a trail, it encourages them to give it a try rather than become hyperfocused on the trail rating. Honestly, if you can ski down king's landing (blue) on a hardpack day, you can ski gondola line (double black) on most days.
Gondi Run at 14:11 is mint
sweet run!
Great video and commentary!

Yeah I don't think king pine sees nearly as much traffic when bracket isn't open.

You should put the rating of the trail too when u put the name of the trail up. Like is it a blue or something.
