- This is an animation my friends Steve, Juan, and I made for our Intro to 3D Animation class. It is a Nintendo-themed Rube Goldberg device. Enjoy!
Yes, I realize the physics are nowhere close to perfect, but I was working under a short deadline, and this is my first time animating using a 3D modeling program.
Program Used for Modeling and Animation: Maya
Awesome job. Very unexpected ending.
Among the first Rube Goldberg machines to ever set foot on RUclips.
I remember watching this when I was 3. I'm 12 now.
now u 16
I watch this when I was 3 too
i remember watching this when i was 4,now i’m 14.
Was about to say you're still a year too young for a youtube account only for me to realize you're like 20 now lol
That is by far the best animation I have seen in a while. Pure brilliance and entertainment kept my attention to the very hilarious end.
What a troll of an ending.
I remember in highschool (2006) when I was introduced to youtube, and one of the first things I looked up was "nintendo". There...were not alot of "nintendo" videos at that time, but the videos included were the kids screaming "nintendo 64!!" and this video.
Worth every second watching with a hilarious ending! 10/5
SEGA!

mad props on the marble madness, that game is the bomb, and beatable in a solid 20 minutes
I love that the music plays for the appropriate game. Favorite'd!
Still coming back again and again to watch it, very nice:)
That's just priceless, use all that nintendo stuff to start the sega. Brilliant.
I remember when RUclips was just starting out and I was 5 or 6 and I watched this sooooo much
If ever there was anything brilliant on You Tube, this is it.
great for a first go! maya is an amazing program, they really don't get much better and i'm sure you'll learn to love it!
This was really funny, and highly creative, and I really liked your graphics....I give it an 89 out of 100.
WONDERFULL!! Brought back so many fond memories!!
not bad!
And the "ending" is just a slap in the face to Nintendo, too.
very well done! i love all the different games you managed to work into this. it also completely captures the spirit of rube goldberg, turning the T.V. on in the end.
Awesome. I remember all those games. So old.
Great transition to marble madness at 1:11
This is going in my frontend arcade for sure.
A Brief History of Time, adorable. Nice touch.
Haha, this was awesome. Very creative and pretty darn good for your first time with a program like that.
An oldie, but a goodie ^^
omg that was amazing i love how its a whole bunch of video games
hahaha i love the mario balloon. awesome idea, awesome execution. seriously an awesome job!!!
DUDE that is awesome!!! Love the ending, hilarious
I wish that marble madness Lvl 1 Cover was real. That was great
Pretty neat, I like how the music changed to the current video game represented.
totally genius, I love the lowrider mushroom and the mario balloon.
lol i love the saga! tune at the end
the fall physics were like floating tho
Very nice.
i agree about the physics, but you've got to admit: this is great animation and especially for a short deadline.
Nice work.
That is Marble Madness. It is kind of a precursor of Super Monkey Ball. You guide a ball from the start to the finish in the time limit, but the time left from the previous level is kept for the next level! Only when a level is completed quickly will you gain extra time. It is a really hard game, but it's really fun!
Ok I have watched it twice. I think it's really creative. Love the sounds, especially blowing the cartridge in the beginning. Then playing SEGA at the end. Great job.
I was like "this is stupid" at the beggining but now i think its EPIC!! SSEEEGGGAAA!!!
The ending was great :) I never expected that.
HAHA! Tiny Toons on the Sega! My favorite genesis game! sweet! Great job dude! Love the use of the properties!
Zelda's room was an incredible surprise!
hahaha, awesome! love the wheelie poppin' mushroom at the end.
i loved the song when the blue ball goes down that ramp
Here in 20023. Greetings from the future.
Very cool, and the sega bit at the end was great!
Great video, classic, love the integration of the nintendo games. It keeps you guessing what game is going to be referenced next. Really good.
that was some sweetness. goldberg would be proud.
omg this is awesome.
love rube goldberg machines.
This was awesome, and very creative. This is the kind of class I will be taking in college, you freegin wait :)
VERY clever how you incorporated all the different games!
That ending was really uncalled for!
that was so cool! that takes a lot of creativity, nice job!
I loved this! Especially the end! Very nice job. I've been a Nintendo fan-girl for years, but just recently began to appreciate the "rival". This is awesomeness to the MAX! My favorite part is at the very end. I love the sound byte...so much coolness. OK, I'll stop salivating, but this was the best!
Twist ending..
5/5
great way to collect the classics!!
Dude that was a culmination of almost every good NES game, but the thing at the end with the sega just amde it funny

This is simply genius. And the twist at the end is also great.
THAT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME. Way better than my old Rube Goldberg for a 3d class. 5 stars man, congrats!
I could belive the ending it rocked hardcore man.
Nice. I think I may have had a fangasm.
brings back memories . :)
Actually, that was very creative and very impressive. I think that was a great first time video for your 3D practice. The flow of each game contributing to another games world was really neat. Facinating video. I hope you can do another part 2 or something once you get more experience :D
I love this! Very cool game selections.
omg that was AWESOME!! and the song was Poppin my collar by three 6 Mafia.
An ending I did not predict XD
It was sweet.
Awesome, you included the Advantage!
the tetris part was brilliant!
i love how you ended it with sega turning on
its amazing!!! some people downt know how much work that is. great!
I liked the tetris the most, and the sega in the end was funny^^
That was the coolest thing I've ever seen!
Great video! Good concept and with great presentation. Keep up the good work.
as long as sonic was in that sega im fine with it
great job!
Oh the irony at the end! Sick video.
LMAO!!!!! all that nintendo stuff to turn on a Sega. LOVE IT!
very simple but awsome smooth movement!
=) as mentioned, the physics behinds it are distracting, but I love the thought put into it. You brought in the audio from past-time classics and related them to the vid as well as made it as though it was a possible chain-reaction due to the use of reality props ^^
No need to dum it down that was frickn' sweet!
That was ingenious! And I LOL'd at the end.
nintendo, nintendo, nintendo, SEGA! I'm not gonna lie, but that last part was halarious!
hahah man, that was aaawesome! i cant believe you got marble madness in there too! aaawesome!
I love the secret sound in the Zelda room lol
LOL, nice! But it seems like there's some sort of magical force keeping the ball on track. XD Hope you made a good grade ;)
Pure genius.

To be that good, it takes AGES.
I love the twist ending!
Ooooh, I love how you have to blow (like into the system) at the beginning XD I missed that -- awsome and so true
