i disagree heavy with you sayin "you can tell its self produced"... Just because something doesn't sound mainstream doesnt make it obvious that it's self produced. Quadeca used to make the most squeaky clean pop rap you have ever heard in your life, something that sounded like it should be on the radio, but it wasn't. I didn't really like his stuff then, but he has the ability to sound professional, and it's pretty clear that the production choices on here, making it sound more lofi and distorted were intentional. It has nothing to do with him not being talented in production, because he is extremely talented in it.

I always knew Quadeca was gonna level up. The potential he showed in Sisyphus gave us glimpses of what he could become. But fuck me has he surpassed that expectation with flying colors. Didn't think he was gonna go full experimental but glad he did. Phenomenal album!

i hate that i have such a heavy bias for this album, cause i know any comment that immediately shows a dislikeness for this album annoys me. At the end of the day though, this album was beautiful in my eyes. To other people, it may seem very corny and the mixing may not be to their liking. I won't sit here and criticise people for having their opinion on the album, but i truly think there is a percentage of the crowed who expected this to be the most life altering, out of body experience coming into this. At the end of the day it told a sad story in a very beautiful way.
to Me, I also think the beginning feeling stiff kinda plays into the concept, Because at the beginnin,g he's like freshly passed, So it's still new to him, being a ghost and going through everything, then with time, it got easier almost.
This is one of the best albums of 2022, easily, and the one that got the most emotion out of me. It was well-produced, well-written, just amazing. Absolutely stunning. Breathtaking. Any other adjective I need to convey my love for this.

i hate that i have such a heavy bias for this album, cause i know any comment that immediately shows a dislikeness for this album annoys me. At the end of the day though, this album was beautiful in my eyes. To other people, it may seem very corny and the mixing may not be to their liking. I won't sit here and criticise people for having their opinion on the album, but i truly think there is a percentage of the crowed who expected this to be the most life altering, out of body experience coming into this. At the end of the day it told a sad story in a very beautiful way.

i was getting a "Lemon Demon - Spirit Phone" vibes on the first listen, and after a while it grew a lot on me, really good album
This is an album that took me a couple listens to truly appreciate. But by far my favorite album of the year
i wish he watched the movie instead of listening on spotify and experienced the album as a whole

to Me, I also think the beginning feeling stiff kinda plays into the concept, Because at the beginnin,g he's like freshly passed, So it's still new to him, being a ghost and going through everything, then with time, it got easier almost.

This is one of the best albums of 2022, easily, and the one that got the most emotion out of me. It was well-produced, well-written, just amazing. Absolutely stunning. Breathtaking. Any other adjective I need to convey my love for this.
