1000 yards without night vision!

  • Weltool W5 Pro, a handheld flash light that can aid in Long range night shooting. Although there isn’t much tactical use it is a lot of fun to play with. The biggest case use I can see this being applied is in hot weather locations. If the heat of day time is unbearable, transitioning to this style of shooting will help with combating the heat.

    After reviewing the footage we are not sure why the farther targets looked green. WE DID NOT use any night vision. The lack of ambient light for the camera to capture down range led to it being dim. If you go back to how the first targets at 300 yards appreared on camera that's what the 1000 yard target looked like in person through the scope.

      It was a lot of fun! The camera doesn’t do it justice.

    I can see a few tactical uses for that light. It seem like a handheld searchlight. From the reflection of the beam on your hand, it's definitely not something that I'd want shined in my face.

    What caliber are you shooting here? 5.56? You aren’t wearing ears, at least when the video shows you.

    Any differences shooting from dark to a lit target? Things to be aware of? Ive considered throwing a light near targets for night time training

    • @SIDEWINDERCONCEPTS
      @SIDEWINDERCONCEPTS  5 месяцев назад +1

      The difference would be the trace. You will be able to see the target area very clearly but won’t be able to see the trace. The bullet would need to fly in the path of the light to make that trace stand out. If you’re in a desert environment or at a range with good berms you’ll be able to adjust off splash and trace isn’t needed as much.
