  • This our 6th and possibly final renovation. We hope this home will be our forever home!
Kitchen windows have been put in the fireplace is getting started. Cabinets are about to be made and we’re in a bit of a waiting period until some of those things are done. Hopefully get really into the fireplace soon.
Upstairs heat and ac unit has been put in, only needs electrical. Waiting on the fireplace build for an easy run up to the upstairs.

I love this trend but the dark side of humor in my brain always thinks geez people used to break into the house looking for TVs and computers now people are going to break in houses looking at the art trying to figure out if it's a TV or not 😂

I just turned 45 and have always been interested in DIY home improvement. But having grown up in a world without the internet, it’s proving rather difficult for me to get over this notion of “Oh, I can just do that???” lol.
Then again, maybe it’s not such an odd reaction to this sudden boom of creative interest within this particular DIY space. And maybe there are tons of people who are experiencing this same “boom” simultaneously…so much so and to a degree that engenders experimentation and rebelling against the notion of being told “No, you can’t do that”.
And it is this particular tipping point, if you will, that serves as a gateway to innovation and advancements in what we had previously deemed impossible.
Keep on wrecking and rebuilding shit!!!

This is a frame tv so I have zero issues with it. But I made one for my old tv and I only occasionally would have to get up to turn the tv on. Or else no issues. Worth a shot.

My 1st thought when I read your question was to create a floating frame in a sense where you actually have small dowels or metal extending from a smaller thin frame to the larger frame creating open areas for remote receptivity... can you see it in your mind? Best wishes 🎄
