We just got ourselves our own Dustin and tested it out on the first floor of our house. It worked marvelously mapped out the floor perfectly. So before we try out the mopping, I wanted to get some input on what kind of water you use in your own robot. The instructions say to use distilled water if there is only hard water available. So distilled water or something else?
We use distilled water since we have it on hand for several other things in our home but if hard water isn't an issue for you, I'd personally probably use it from the tap.
You're welcome! We struggled with this too and decided to try to help some others out. The manufacturer's manual says water. Personally, I see no problems adding vinegar as long as it's safe for your flooring!
I bought Dustin more than 6 months ago, and am just now trying to figure out how to use him. Idk why Im having a hard time. I can’t even get him to map out the floors, and I def didn’t know how to work the mop feature! Obviously it’s just going to take some figuring out I just wish there were more videos like this explaining how to use him and the app! Thx
What kind of video do you think would be helpful to you? Would you like a tutorial on how to use him on the app? I'm not affiliated with the brand in any way I just really love how it makes my life easier and I know others need that too!
Did you try these trouble shooting options? Took this directly from the manual! “You can connect Dustin to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi after he's fully charged. To do so, turn ON 'Location Services' and 'Bluetooth' on your phone settings. Also allow 'Local Network' access and turn off 'Wi-Fi Calling' on your phone. Write down your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and its password (note that they are case sensitive). Bring Dustin and your phone close to your modem or router and be sure to select the correct model name 'Dustin' from the list of bots.. For more information, visit: bobsweep. com/dustin-support.”
Thank you guys for making this video. I have to say I’ve tried to watch lots of tutorials and the way you guys did this. This was absolutely fabulous.
So glad to hear that it helped you!!
Is it a steam mop or just water?
Thank you for showing how to take the cartridge out. I couldn’t figure it out
You are so welcome! That took us a bit to figure out too!

1 THANK YOU spent 40min trying to figure this part out 😂😂😂 2. Can you add vinegar to the water for the mopping?

Hi! To clarify, only distilled water can be added, or can we add like Fabuloso?
I'd direct that question to the manufacturer. I haven't tried a cleaning solution, only water!
just ordered it, hoping it lives up to your review :D
@@cotillion I hope you love it as much as I do!

I've done a lot of research but am unable to get connected to a 2.4 GHz. How did you do it please to get Dustin on wifi?
