1996 Casio QV-10A - CCD Digital Camera

The 1996 Casio QV-10A was pretty much identical to the 1995 QV-10 (The 10A had a slight colour change and improved image quality). The QV-10 being the first consumer camera with a screen. Amazing at the time! Both have a similar spec, with 320 x 240 Px, 0.25Mp output. Innovative, too, with its swivel lens, later adopted by Nikon & Sony among others. Available for below $1,000 at launch, however, a PC interface kit was extra. An interesting camera, but ultimately, a dead end idea with the swivel lens. But you’ve got to start somewhere!
