I used to watch his daily posts on instagram and was looking forward to videos every week. Then I was hyped for all the launches thanks to the content...now it all seems so anticlimactic and lackluster and its been well over a year since I bought anything from him at all or was even a bit excited for a launch. And maybe Im too old, but I am not gonna watch someone chat with people about nothing on tiktok lives religiously.
In his review, he did say he waited two minutes for the lipstick to dry. I think he forgot he had reviewed it because he said just grabbed it from his collection. Sounds like he forgot it was transfer proof, tried the hack, and it worked because of the lipstick he used. So, the hack was false. Whether that was a genuine mistake or not…who knows.
I do agree with your theory that Jeffree is trying to befriend the more relevant tik tokers. There could be a lot of reasons as to why. But it's definitely the vibe I get as well.

The first time there was a cut, and he said the lip had been on 2 minutes then showed it was transfer proof. So all that with the one size made no difference to the product but I bet it made their lips feel so dry and horrible. It's a great setting spray for makeup and I totally agree with your warning, let's not encourage the kids on TikTok to be spraying it all over their mouth and nose.

There was a video from another tiktoker, he showed how glamzilla prob put translucent setting powder on the paper towel before she "blotted" off the excess lipstick, then spraying it with the setting spray to completely seal the powder. Which makes total sense, as MUA's have always used powder to set lipstick smh
