Hello Ria and family,it is so heartwarming to see a family being together bonding over preparing an awesome meal.Loved it, this vid. took me away from the madness so thank you for sharing.Crix was one of my favorites, also mopsey .Keep self and family safe.
Just found your page. I am from the USA traveled to Trinidad many times with my grandma to see her friends. LOVE being able to bring the taste of Trini to her. Thanks so much!!
My favourite memories of my mom who died when I was 7, is sitting outside in the front porch on Saturday nights eating crix with sardines and Milo tea!
You're a teaser with "smell that" yes I do :) That is so mouth watering and the colors are out of this world. It reminded me so much of back home. Keep up the good cooking Ria!
You have to bethe best cook ever in your country, you have an amazing cooking show and you make it look so easy, all though it is not because i also cook from scratch for myfamily we do not eat processed foods, and you are a blessing to your family and the world to show people how to cook the way you're suppose to, all natural if you have the time, once again I love your cooking techniques and your recipes.
You did all that cooking you wasn't feeling well, a wife and a mother. And keeping your subscribers entertained. God bless you. Hope it's nothing, feel better food looks delicious as always😊
You were meant to do this, Ria, giving hope to us who are reluctant to try something new. I love your calm and encouraging voice. I, too, was born in TT and have been living in Western Canada for 50 years. When you cook with your older relatives, it brings back some childhood memories. Thank you. ❤️
Ria what a beautiful presentation and lunch. The music remind me as a child growing up in Barbados go in no to Church. Ria I love all of your videos I always learn some thing new. May God continued to bless you and family. Thumbs up

This video was so satisfying to watch..I just love how you cook..its just so homey and it's like I'm a part of your family whom you're cooking for. Great recipe and Great Job as usual. ❤❤❤
CookingWithRia and I tried to make brown stew chicken. I have to watch you burn your sugar again mine burnt for real. And you and my mom make pretty much the same sofrito / green seasoning.
Been trying all kinds of methods for fry shrimp but this one is really nice, that geera is exactly what it needed plus it was crispy. All I tried from this was the shrimp. Any suggestions for more crispiness
Hello. Thanks for sharing your recipes and tips. I followed your fried bake recipe 2 weeks ago and the end product was great! I've been hooked on your channel ever since. Now I'm cooking more than I'm eating. Lol. But you really made me feel more confident in the kitchen. Thanks much ☺
Thank you Ria for yet another wonderful meal preparation and presentation . In all this chaos and anxiety going on your words of comfort and hope brings courage to us all. I imagined that fragrance coming from your kitchen with the combination of colours in that fried rice and salad waw (mouth watering). The family that cooks together stays together. Keep safe and God bless you and your family.
I feel good knowing that i have company in preparing food. It looks like me in the kitchen. Love your voice and your videos are true classic every time. Thank you Ria💕🥂🙏🏼
Hai there i love all your recipes. I am gonna try them. But i have a tip for you, when you bake meat, fish,or anything that crumbled in the oil You can sift it .then the oil get clean again and the crumbled spieces would not burn in the oil. Otherwise every burn crumble will stick to the other spieces of meat or fish etcafter every batch you bake you have sift . Just put a stainless sifter in the oil and clean it out❤
Speedy recovery! Your dishes look Yummilicious! I am so pleased to see you cut off the tips of the chicken wings.. Continued success! GOD'S BLESSINGS AND GUIDANCE!

Hi aria
I just love 💗 your channel
I know you put in a lot of time and work to make every dish look perfect
Thanks 🙏
P.s... Can you please do a show on how to make the sea moss drink?
May i ask what tha green vegetable
Elizabeth Versammy what point in the video?
@@CookingWithRia looking like a guava
Elizabeth Versammy Think you are referring to Christophene aka chayote.
Just incase some of you thought that green pear shape vegetable was a raw Avocado, it isn't!
It is a Chayote Squash also known as Christophine; it is usually peeled and boiled or baked but some boil it with the skin on...not sure of any other ways of preparing it.
It has a very bland taste, but is very complimentary to your dish if prepared correctly.
Lastly, it is very nutritional therefore good for your health as it contains:
Vitamins A, C and D
Calcium
Iron
Magnesium (good for your blood)
It has also been used as a medicine due to its beneficial properties. It is known to reduce high blood pressure. The same can be said of cucumbers.
