I really like this doll. I'm getting a few too. I saw on myfroggystuff, how she gave him a haircut and goatee. He looked really, really good. If you update your ken, I hope you show how you re-styled him or he makes an appearance in another one of your videos.
I got him a few days ago….. eBay offered me the All American Ken Doll…. The one with Reebok high tops and acid washed jeans for 8 bucks! Couldn’t pass that up…. Anyways… the acid washed jeans and Reeboks LOOK perfect on this doll…. Must say…. 90s Ken Doll Clothes fit the muscle body PERFECTLY….
Thanks for the good review. I'd like to see a follow up video of how you style his hair. I'm wondering if I should try giving mine (when he arrives) a little trim or just try to pick/comb it.
I ordered two, and the one I left as is has decent hair. I used the other doll as a body donor for the Ken Fashionista with the blue leopard print shirt and purple shorts; it's a perfect match. I like the Ken dolls with the buff MTM bodies; they're like handsome action figures. Plus, they're _caked._ I'm hoping Mattel releases a buff MTM body that will match the New York Hoodie Ken.
Only a mild insult from Alysa, real progress from threatening the Linas with her shoe 😂 His hair needs a little work and shaping but i definitely like him and i am glad for this buff body in another skintone. Hopefully many more shades are released ASAP!!
my daughter was really excited to get this ken, waited for it checking the mail every day.. finally it arrived, the package was in perfect condition. We opened him up to find a broken leg. I contacted mattel and gave all the info needed including the codes on the doll. they responded offering a fashionista with limited joints.😢 so legit they had a factory error and are refusing to correct it. My daughter is heart broken.
I bought two of the ladies Heidi and Simone , here in northern Ireland couldn't find the fella any where , but I will get him l have friends who also look for me also , i recall looking for a curvey black Barbie i couldn't find her any where then I did and so did my friends so i ended up with about seven of them i kept one in its packaging and one out kept her original the others i revamped changed the hair styles different clothes they All looked completely different and with the help of a local African lady living here in northern Ireland we sold them and split the profits
Handsome sculpt, great body, atrocious outfit. I don't know why, but all the Looks Kens after Wave 1 were cheaply dressed compared to the Barbies. The hair...needs work. Also, I don't know why Mattel gave both AA Looks Kens the exact same skin tone. Those of us who rebody our Fashionista Kens with Looks bodies need different skin tones!
Even though I love almost all of the boys in the LOOKS series, I think Mattel needs to re-evaluate the boys' clothes. It's always the same pants with the same style, just changing the color. and no more interesting details about their outfit. This boy received beautiful shoes, which was an improvement over the sneakers given to boys in other collections. This is probably a great version of that head sculpt, but I'm not sure I like this buff body...they look a little brutal (LOL!).
