Overall especially for their price i love the Barbie Looks dolls. I hope they bring out another Tameka, Sean, Simone, and a first HJR98 for the Looks line.

What's happening to kens nether parts? It's an odd design. Looks like he has two back sides one in the back and one in the front and I do like the articulation of the doll and I would re-dress it of course.
@DollThighs yeah if you ever get your hands on a vintage 11.5-inch GI Joe from the early to mid 90s, you'll notice they have similar hand types. And if you don't want him in army fatigue, you can keep him in gym wear and give him a barbell or dumbbell weights.
He would look good in a nice tailored suit in a pastel color to offset his macho look. Wish Ken's looked like this when I was a kid. I just finished putting together a bookshelf for my dolls I think I need to cut back by being more selective.
The grey pants look fine on him.but the rest doesn't match his vibe. Ur right. & lol YES he does look goofy. Lol. Integrity dolls look more serious & their own league. Lol. More ADULT.😊

I'm so glad you got him! I bought 4 of him (so far). 😭😭😭It's definitely weird that Ken doesn't have nipples since most male dolls do. Whenever I get a new GI Joe-type doll, they're always erect, hahaha. But then again, if Ken did have nips then it'd be weird that he'd be the only doll in the entire Barbie line to have them. I think the grippy hands are a versatility thing, where they're mostly open like the other dolls but just curled enough that you can make him look like he's flexing his muscles. And I think he'd be a great mini me for you! You just have to paint over his features to add your own. Make the eyes darker, darken up the facial hair, etc. Also two things I randomly noticed about all 4 dolls I got is that they have sort of loose thigh joints and the shoes are a little too hard. But I still love him so much. 😭😭😭
I haven't noticed it with this one specifically, but the looks dolls joints do get loose pretty quickly in my experience if you move them around a lot.

Yes, sections of the Barbie community ARE fucking nuts. Like, they practically worship that brand/doll. It's quite scary, actually. The frustrating thing about the "Himbo Ken", for me, is that i was excited to get him, i had to wait months to get him and when he finally arrived, i was underwhelmed. It taught me to never get hype about a doll release or any kind of new release. i enjoy being part of a collectively positive experience, but this was not that. i felt like one of several million thirsty-ass lemmings. i was often stressed out and resentful. i found myself giving the screw face to everyone who posted their new Tate doll and borderline hated on them. It got to a point where i avoided all videos and photos having to do with the Looks line. i thought i would get over it once i finally bought mine, but i felt nothing once i held the box in my hand. And i only wanted the body. NEVER. AGAIN.
I completely understand. That's usually how I feel about Monster High. Lol, I always wait to buy them, then I see other people post about them, and when I finally cave and buy them, I tend to regret it. 😅
