The magma probably doesn't work on the one side because there aren't water source blocks above them. You gotta use a bucket in the corner so all the flowing water converts to source water.

You guys should try and get one of the SCP mods, I think there are a few SCP mods I don't really know how mods work but uh SCP is a horror based site If you've played lethal company then the monsters from there are similar to the monsters in the scp foundation, there are just lots. Lots more in the SCP foundation. I also don't know if they naturally spawn or what version they are in- so that may be a problem but I guess it depends on the mods.
So the pages will drop different rare/op loot which makes the slender forest really good. They only take up 1 chunk, but the reason why your forest was a) so big and b) there were 2 slendermen is because you had 2 forests spawn right next to each other. Slenderman will only stay in the slender forest but since 2 are touching, both slendermen will travel between the 2 forests (I also have this mod and have completed one of the forests)
Idk if other people have said this yet or not but herobrines mod has been updated to where he can create several structures that can spawn around the map, even in chunks that have already been loaded
You could make a hole in the wall near the bottom allowing you to hit them while they are taking magma damage, also the magma wont work on one part because there isn't a water source block over. To fix that you could use a bucket in all the places that it wont suck.
Idk if you fixed it yet but the reason the magma blocks aren’t “sucking you” is because above them there needs to be full blocks so if you take a bucket with water and click on top of the magma blocks it will turn them into source blocks tho you may have to do this with all of them because every block needs to be a source block so another thing you can do is replace the magma with dirt put kelp all the way up the water which will turn the flowing water into a source block break the kelp and put the magma blocks back instead of the dirt
You should make like movies. Like a 100days and over an hour long, it's enjoyable. More mods to make it realistic and challenging. That's just my opinion

Keep in mind that this is why you have to have a lot of water for water elevators, since this is also a problem with soul sand
