So envious of people that live in or near Europe, who can travel to all the great yarn festivals. My lineage is scottish. We are going to Egypt/Jordan/ Guernsey Island/Paris in October. But I dont know of any festivals happening then. We have a 3.5hr stop over but cant decide - Istanbul or Athens. Maybe next time, to Scotland. Try doing a fractual spin by splitting the fibre lengthways to get even colours.

It looked like a wonderful trip. I'm not a tree expert, but I believe there's a difference between cherry trees that product fruit and ornamental cherries, which have the impressive big clusters of flowers. Those trees are just for looking at!

Oh Ivana - so many happy memories. I watched this whole episode with a smile. It was truly such a delight to have you here in Edinburgh and to spend time with one another. I miss both you and Jackie so so much. And I'm already looking forward to the time when we will once again enjoy one another's company. Also, those bats of fibre are incredible!! I don't think I really realised just how beautiful they were until you shared them here. I can't wait to see how they spin up and what you choose to make with them. How exciting!!

Hi Ivana, I have been to Edinburgh for woolshops, and edinburgh Yarnfestival together with friends. I can see you enjoyed and your happy face tells about good memories. I like what you have bought. In november I have a trip with 5 lady's to Yorkshire, I look forward to the festival there
