Self balancing + Line follower . That is really amazing !

This is amazing! So much cooler than a drone. Really awesome work!

Now he just needs an arm to pick things up! He can read signs, find objects, and follow tracks. if he could pick things up and maybe have some voice-commands. Maybe like "get the ball" or "fetch" and the ball is a predefined image so it goes to search for it unless you say the kill command like "stop". Very cool! It'll be interesting to see what you do with this.

Dylan Turner There's no microphone input in the raspberry Pi, otherwise ir sounds possible to implement voice commands. I'm not working on this project anymore. I have a new similar robot but ir is in development.

Hello. Your project is very inspiring. I have one question for you. To move the robot using a normal, double or microsteps? Did you write that code in C ++. C ++ is also routine on the balance of robot and control pan / tilde or just routine for image processing with OpenCV? Similar robots were introduced no more. It is no longer time to show where your code?

Can you explain how is the communication between controller and Raspberry Pi?

There is no controller used as it is an autonomous bot

The link in the description says he is using a PIC24FJ64GA002 microcontroller....

Hi, I would like to know how to make the communication between the microcontroller and raspberry pi, serial, I2C or another?

    Hi
Love your video's with your self balancing robot. I was thinking weather it would be possible to train opencv to read hand signals, possibly with a colored glove. eg point left then show four fingers and it would go left four feet. Point down to go forward or up to go back. Show hand palm to stop or combinations to rotate, Just a thought. I have a small RPI robot PI-BOT kickstarter project on order and have gyro/accelerometer chip ordered as well. Hoping to learn more about robotics and hardware interfacing. Have done a bit already. I have had RPI's since the beginning and can program in several languages and have been studying opencv on my pc. Helped developed a RPI python motion detect program and added a grive interface for my RPI surveillance cameras.
    Anyway Love your video's
    Claude

It would probably work. Never seen anything like that.
