Or maybe because when venom died, eddie died too, without a host the symbiote is too weak to find the perfect host so it must've crawled off and died slowly

I have a very exclusive opinion here. I think this game had the best Spider-Man bosses up to then. You’re basically equal as long as you understand the spider sense, the length is good, it’s easy to understand, and the music is stupendous! My only issue to this day are the lightning quick QTE’s. Only WOS and 2018 got Spider-Man QTE’s correct. Although it’s extremely satisfying to get them right in this game

Best thing about this game where the amount of villains and boss fights. I've played It so many times, always for the boss battles, It wasn't perfect, but It was cool enough for Spider-Man fans. Kraven, super Lizard and Rhino where probably the hardest. But my favorites where Sandman, Kingpin and Scorpion. PS: It's fun how these games from the Raimi trilogy had a continuity of it's own. In Spider-Man 2 the events of the first game were aknowledged by Shocker and an easter egg of Vulture. On this third one, there is a reference to Mysterio in a Daily Bugle mission and the fact that Spider-Man already knew Kraven goes back to the Xbox version of the game from the first movie which had Kraven as an exclusive boss. Scorpion and Rhino just seem like loose ends, but nothing in this game deny their appearences on the previous ones.

I also assume Lizard would’ve eventually appeared in the films.
That happened with the iron man games. In the first game you fight whiplash who is one of the villains in the second movie. They got around it by having the second game set “after” the iron man 2 movie.
This game, with all its unpretentiousness and some obsolescence, is perhaps even better than the film itself. If remastered today, I would go through again. Still, whatever one may say, the period from 2007 to 2014 was the golden age of video games, after that everything went downhill.

I love this game it's a masterpiece. Most of the boss fights were hard like Kraven, The Lizard, kingpin and Sandman. The rest were easy. I still enjoyed playing the game They actually did good with the pc playstation 3 & xbox 360 version. The playstation 2, Psp and Wii versions suck.
It sucks that we never got Lizard since Dr. Connors appears in Spiderman 2 and 3. That's probably why he was the main villain in The Amazing Spiderman.
h h Eddie could survive if the symbiote healed him like in other media, however we never see this Venom heal from anything severe so I guess it’s possible this version of the symbiote can’t heal Eddie. In the film the only injury we see him heal from was his wrists getting slit by Harry’s razor bats

The ps2 version was different too there was no scorpion at least no apocalypse or whatever that guy was called there was a lizard if i remember venom new goblin and sandman also no fisk if i remember
