Love the many American White Oak species, many of which are now rare due to over harvesting. So much character. The shape you chose really brings out the character of the piece and makes it a true work of art. Thanks for sharing.

A very nice bowl Mike. You got more out of that piece of timber than I though you could. You did that piece proud. Nice tip about using the shrink wrap while hollowing. The color and bark inclusions make for a very interesting piece.👍👍Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

Another great video Mike. I had reservations about it staying together as did you and the cling film was a great idea. I keep learning from your videos.. Diolch !

Great bowl Mike. Good move to wrap it before turning the inside. Don’t know if it was necessary, but it is excellent insurance. Thanks for sharing it.

Amazing look. The grain and spalting reminds me of expensive Carrera marble. I made a peppermill from American white oak (live oak specifically) and its one of my favorite pieces. Well done Jedi turner :)
