    If you've had a long trip or day and all you want to do is get something to eat, surf the web for a little while and get 8 hours of sleep, you just can't beat it. Doesn't have to be too fancy.

    In my mid teens to later twenties mid 1990's to mid 2000's. This would have been a paradise as old school gamer.
    At age 43 though? Ugggh hard pass. Guess I am past my super adventure age in life.
    But half my lifetime back, I'd totally have gone in for a month at least once if possible, and likely had a fun time I bet.

    I didn’t go to one of these places when I visited Japan. I only tried a capsule hotel which I found fascinating. I’d like to try this next time. Oh and I adore takoyaki. I tried it for my first time in Akihabara, Tokyo and the staff were careful to ask me if I knew what I was buying, and warned it it very very hot. I knew what it was and expected it to be hot. It was delicious. I’ve eaten it every time I’ve found it since.

If you want to know what's new in the center of Japan, Tokyo is the place to go 🗼. If you want to know the beautiful history and buildings of Japan, Kyoto is the place to go 🍁. If you want to know the history of what happened in the past, I recommend Hiroshima ⛩.

    Ahoj Itsuka, myslím že by som mala problem spať v takom malom priestore, bez okna pre mňa depresívne!! Myslím že na Slovensku takéto malé izby nemáme. A kapsulove hotely taktiež nemáme. Zrejme je to tým že sme mala krajina, je nas 6 miliónov. To je ako u Vás v Japonsku mesto!!! 🙏

    • @ITSUKAJAPANTRAVEL

      Ďakujeme za váš komentár! Určite tam nie sú žiadne okná. Nevšimol som si to, kým ste to nespomenuli. Japonci nie sú až takí vysokí, preto sa tu mohli nachádzať malé kapsulové hotely a internetové kaviarne.

    I guess these places don't really want many people to stay a long time, or the bedding would be better. It wouldn't take much to provide a slightly nicer futon & comforter, and even a good pillow doesn't need to be expensive for them. So I guess this is their way of discouraging people to stay more than one night or so. It's probably for the best. It would suffice in a pinch.

    • @anitacraighead7038
      @anitacraighead7038 2 года назад +3

      It's an "internet cafe`" not a 5 star American hotel!! And Japanese are used to sleeping on futons! You need to be respectful of their way of life!

    • @ITSUKAJAPANTRAVEL
      @ITSUKAJAPANTRAVEL  2 года назад

      The location of this Internet café is good, so it is convenient for those whose only purpose is to sleep. You can buy most of what you need at DAISO👍.

    • @thany3
      @thany3 2 года назад +1

      @@anitacraighead7038 It wasn't meant in a disrespecting way. I know how Japanese sleep on futons, I've done it myself many times while visiting.
      But in the end, I suppose it's up to everyone individually to make the choice whether or not to spend the night at a place like this.
