This class is absolutely amazing. Many of the concepts really aught to be incorporated into all martial classes, as grappling is a key pillar of basically every historical martial art
A Luchador with A ring of jumping and boots of springing and striding (with 20str) can jump vertically about 70ft in the air after running 10ft. thats an extra 14d6 of damage if he successfully body slams a creature. Freaking BEAUTIFUL. even if limited to 30ft movement he can still achieve 6d6 extra damage if he does a standing vertical jump.
Man, this class is perfect for my character Darian Whitemane "The Platinum Lion", who I've played previously as a Pugilist in lieu of a proper luchador

Built my luchador, aka The First Wonder, while this class was in development. It only got better and better. I had always played a caster, but the way this class was built took me back to the days of watching WWF/WWE. Had a great time playing a lucha. Keep up the awesome work my dude!
Just bought it, seems fun so far and I have been wanting a wrestler class for a long time. Although I'm a little worried it might be OP with all the class features I still think something should be added to play up the showmanship. Something like "after performing a signature move, if there are 4 or more non hostile humanoids who can see you, you may make a dc 14 performance check as a bonus action. If successful you gain one lucha die as the crowd can't help but cheer you on." It needs a lot of work but something to start with.

Can you jump "horizontally" and apply "High Flier" feature for damage like a pseudo Body slam/Lunge or was it just meant to be done from Vertical jump/Height?

The same effect can be done if you have a caster in your party with Jump. Have them cast it on you and have fun

I LOVE THIS! I have been wanting a grappling class ever since I started playing DnD.
My first dnd character was a Luchador dragon born Monk. He wasn't very good but it was fun German Suplexing a troll so hard his head exploded
Lucha is fun to play. I liked creating fun uses for my signature moves. (That grapple and jump from the ledge was just beautiful.)
