    Rare to find a hash-brown recipe that's vegan as well as non-fried - Thanks! Couple of Qs: How long to soak in cold water to get rid of starch? And duration & temperature for baking? Thanks.

    Why remove the starch from potato and then add corn starch?

      Hi kotsios555, the corn starch I added is in powder form to help bind all the ingredients. It is not the same as the potato starch (that comes out as liquid) after they are rinsed in very cold water.
