Thanks man! I really appreciate that. And it's indeed something that pays off big-time if you can make it through the beginning phase! It's like that with many things in life that are actually good for you.
What a lovely tutorial. I had to play it through at half speed but I got it!!! And you put all of the correct chords in place (some I've seen just miss out an inconvenient chord). Thank you so much for this.
Its going to take me a week or so to get up to speed but I quite enjoy that - once I've understood what is happening. It's meditative (I can't meditate for the life of me - an ADHD thing) - so this is perfect. I like your voice too - calm and not shouty as some tutorials are -which can be really distracting for a neurodivergent brain. I'm glad you put the ring finger bit in as well, even though you don't really use it. It helps my weird brain to know things like that. Perfect and beautiful.
Thanks for the nice comment Debbie! I'm glad this was helpful to you. I've been diagnosed with ADHD (innatentive type) myself so i know exactly what you mean 😋 And playing/learning guitar is a meditative experience to me as well, it really helps to quiet things down in your mind. I'm sure you'll be able to play this song very well with a bit of practice, just take your time ^^
Thanks, i just finished learning it. Not up to tempo but thats ok. The transition into the chorus was a little weird but i just referred back to your cover on the song 👍
@@dylanportillo2317 Glad to hear it helped you out ^^ tempo is always the last thing to focus on imo. Better to play slow and good than fast with (too many) mistakes when learning new songs.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy it ^^ for the main picking pattern starting at 3:00 the sequence is : 5-4-2-4-4-3 or A-D-B-D-D-G. The hammer-on is played on the second D (4) string in the sequence. If you have more questions feel free to ask!
@@benlyon9382 Oh :D That's actually really cool! I haven't learned yet how to write out tabs properly 😅 Something for my to-do list, it definitely can be helpful!
Amazing! Actually been waiting for this since I saw your cover. Great tutorial too!
Good luck with it!
@@Pazaluz Thank you!
i cant thank you enough for this slow tutorial man this helped me so much
Sounds great, brother! Also been teaching myself guitar for a while now. It’s not easy but when you finally get something right it’s so fulfilling.

Thank you. Very nice job of figuring out a picking pattern and taking the time to teach it. Nicely sung too.
Thanks! It's definitely one of my favorites to play and sing.
Thank you so much! Beautiful song and seems relatively easy to play. Look forward to trying it out!
Good luck with it! If you need any help you can always leave a comment ✌️

❤ you learning spirits..this i love😉
Thank you ^^
Lovely
Thank you 😄
Written by Julie Miller, I believe.
Indeed. I don't know if Emmylou Harris has co-written that song. But both versions are great. Jamey Johnson also did a great version of this song.
where did u learn this from by tab ? or ears
I looked up the correct chords, but the picking pattern is done by ear.
@@Pazaluz thanks man
Tabs?
I can't really help with that, I haven't gone to music school, Not sure how to even begin writing out tabs.
Next time please zoom in on the strings when teaching the pattern. So far away.
