El Poblado de Sancti Petri es un antiguo pueblo pesquero, actualmente en desarrollo con explotaciones turísticas y hosteleras, culturales, deportivas y de ocio, destacando el Concert Music Festival, perteneciente al municipio de Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz, España). Su nombre está en latín y significa "de san Pedro", patrón de los pescadores. Se cree que en la antigüedad existió un santuario a Melkart en sus alrededores, el cual fue visitado por el propio Julio César.
The town of Sancti Petri is an old fishing village, currently under development with tourist and hotel, cultural, sports and leisure activities, highlighting the Concert Music Festival, belonging to the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz, Spain). Its name is in Latin and means "of Saint Peter", patron saint of fishermen. It is believed that in ancient times there was a sanctuary to Melkart in its surroundings, which was visited by Julius Caesar himself.
