To me Sheeraz still has a lot to prove as all he’s done here is beat the leftovers of Demetrius Andrade & Chris Eubank Jr. If he takes Eubank Jr out as easy as pie 🥧 I’ll be impressed but until then I’m not convinced he’s “The Real Deal” just yet.

Sheeraz has a nice style to his boxing, a good footwork, and jab. This is the first time I have seen him, so i cant judge how good he is on this fight alone but I liked what I saw.

noi actually the footwork was terrible. its looks good because williams was so bad.... anyone can look good if the other bloke is just going to fall over and not throw a punch.
One of the best and humane stops I have ever seen. The corner knew he was outclassed and they knew their man wouldn't quit, they saved him from a potentially dangerous night. Great win to Sheeraz who looks good!

Really hard to judge Sheeraz on this fight. Liam is well past it and that punch resistance is none existent now.

Passed it he’s only 31 he went the distance with Eubanks and Andrade in his last 3
He has a lot of height and reach for the division, over the years he will have to move up the division so he will find greater opposition

Jabs were knocking Williams on his backside. The uppercut was probably the only real shot with venom that should have hurt Williams. Really glad his corner stopped it before he took serious damage.

lw went down from not big shots from andrade and eubank, they are not punchers, Sheeraz is, it was obvious if lw got caught he was likely to be stopped, this was a good match up for sheeraz a boxer will be much harder than a brawler like lw @@niceguy6152

It certainly didnt seem to land flush but it seemed the only punch that looked like it was thrown with his feet set. I think Williams should retire if he is being pulled out by his corner in that manner. Fair play to his corner though.

I want to believe that Sheeraz is the real deal, but this fight told us nothing about Sheeraz's potential. It told us that Williams is finished and is a shell of the fighter he once was. His trainer knew it and that's why he threw the towel in in round 1. I like what I see from Sheeraz so far and if he keeps his professionalism we will hopefully see where that takes him. But we've seen boxers with tremendous potential before who have failed to reach their targets. Let's just wait and see how he goes before we start putting World Championship belts around him 👍

I totally agree mate All Hamsah Sheeraz has done here is beat the leftovers of Demetrius Andrade & Chris Eubank Jr & he lost back to back fights to Liam Smith although the 2 fights against Smith were competitive but the Andrade & particularly the Eubank Jr fights were not as competitive quite one sided. If Hamsah Sheeraz does the same to 35 year old Demetrius Andrade & 34 year old Chris Eubank Jr I’ll be impressed but those 2 even at 34 & 35 are a lot better than Liam Williams. Denzel Bentley 🇬🇭 id like to see against Sheeraz too & at just turned 29 Bentley is a good puncher.

I like that Lewis-type of Jab. The hand is not coming from far behind, but a half way to the face of the opponent. Its fast and sharp.
Those Jabs are electric! Fast and Hard, one of the only chances against jabs is to step inside but it's hard against that speed.

That is the most shot I’ve ever seen a fighter look. How he was allowed to even get in the ring is beyond me, there’s no way he wasn’t getting rattled like that in sparring.

Phenomenal jab from Sheeraz Williams in decline and struggled straight from the off ,ove to see Sheeraz fight BJS great call from Gary Lockett otherwise that could have ended in a possible disaster.
Liam Williams' performances have just has completely fallen off a cliff.
Don't think he was ever a world champion, but his performance against Andrade, and the few dominant wins he had prior to that, made him a worthy contender for sure.
But something MUST have happened before that Eubank Jr fight. He looked totally helpless to stand up to punches he's previously just walked through.
I swear the Liam Williams of 2019/2020 would never have been stopped so easily.
I know fighters do of course exit their prime years, but Liam's decline has been shockingly quick.

This is a great win for Sheeraz and I'm not going to discredit that win like some in the comment's. Liam Williams is still a good fighter who is capable of beating top fighters, I was hoping he would of taken Sheeraz to the trenches to see how Sheeraz would react but unfortunately this did not happen. On that note it's hard to say if Sheeraz is ready for the big boys in that division.

Sheeraz is decent but this was a learning fight so to speak as Williams is long past his best and is a name for Sheeraz to have on his CV…. Hopefully he can get some more testing fight going forward so we can see how good his talent suggests he is

People refer to the Eubank fight, but I reckon the Andrade fight was probably the one that did the damage. He got seriously beat up that fight for a long time and never looked the same after.
