@@DiecastDudeofficial I don't think this plane made any money or they would have built more, but as a matter of national pride and "non-capitalist" on paper; I wouldn't be surpised if they built a new one; or go bigger.

Great review of this An 225 Mriya model. Yes, I was devastated when I heard the news that she had been destroyed. She visited my local airport in the UK a couple of times. An incredible aircraft she was.
Unfortunately I've never seen this giant in real life.

I believe the two ports on each side you were wondering about are the exhaust outlets of the auxiliary power units but I'm not entirely sure.

I’m pretty sure that those two holes at the back of the plane were thrusters that help get the back end off the ground during takeoff

Always amazes me that the wings on these giant planes can hold so much weight, with the engines and fuel in them...the stress rating must be off the planet !

De 2 AN-225 zijn dezelfde 1 in oude kleuren de nieuwe in de kleuren die het de laatste jaren vloog er is namelijk maar 1 er was een 2de maar die is nooit afgebouwd vanwege de kosten 300 miljoen dollar. Ze willen hem weer herstellen nade vernietiging daar voor zijn ze met een aktie bezig maar ik denk dat het nog wel even zal duren vanwege de oorlog en daarna zal eerst het land weer moeten worden opgebouwd en de fabrieken van Antonov. De gaten onder de buik is volgens mij voor flares
Ik hoop echt dat hij ooit nog eens gaat rondvliegen🍀🙏
This is just a suggestion, but what if you get a turntable next time for a better and cooler presentation? I mean these models are good-looking and cool enough but seeing them standing on a turntable makes them 10x cooler... Love your videos by the way...
