On 11.09.2001 the World Trade Center got attacked by Osama Bin Laden & Al-Qaeda. A compilation of various videos proofs the existence of the aircraft. Especially, for those who were there for the groundbreaking. My dad worked for the port authority so we all went there for the groundbreaking….when they started construction on the twin towers. The buildings I don’t care about. It’s the people who were trapped inside that gives me nightmares….and, of course the ones who had no choice but to jump to their death. That’s what makes me sick.

I had never seen this shot at 9:33 until now, this is one of the most significant perspectives I’ve seen. The way the shot is so close, the true impact of the plane can be seen, fiery debris flies everywhere, and you can see the reflection of the explosion on the building on the right. It’s all so horrifying. I still can’t believe this happened, almost 23 years later.

I Remeber the day this happened, i was sitting in my room was listening to radio when i heard of the attacks, my mom and little sister where inside the building meeting an old friend from Highschool, at the time i was 13, i ran out onto the street below and saw the events unfold, i didnt know what to do, so i started running towards the buildings, but as i attempted to enter i remeber a fireman holding me back, i stared into his eye's, not knowing what to say, suddenly i felt this helpnessles surge inside of me, a few days later it was clear: both were gone, i also remember walking down the allyway with pictures of all the firemen who had died in the incident: the one holding me back was one of them.
Watch this more carefully - now in your 30’s you hopefully realise it was all planned by yr own gov. Greed right there at the top - and justification for Massive Military spending in Iraq. I saw this live on late night TV about 1030pm in Australia maybe 830am in NYC - I was sitting at my computer with my back to the screen but had a mirror to glance at - when I saw the smoke from the first tower I turned to look, and hear the small talk about maybe it was a light plane, maybe it was an accident - in time to see the second large plane fly in - my jaw dropped and I didn't stop watching for the next two hours. 23 years later we can see this on a RUclips LetUsJoke channel with choking.

What I have noticed is that when some of the distance videos are shown the plane hits "silently" but after a couple of seconds you hear the booms. It took that long for the sound to reach those filming.

@@Mass_07 I'm empathetic so when I remember 9/11 and what they all felt and them jumping and the kind of emotion that could even lead them to jump thousands of feet from the sky rather than stay inside and suffocate and/or burn to death I get....lets just say its such a dark and painful gut wrenching feeling that I have to take benzos to calm down the emotion is waaaaay too strong and can't stop crying 19 fucking years later and I cannot stop crying from the horror. On this day, I was in the 8th grade, being driven by my grandmother to school in her 1998 red Toyota Camry.
My sister-one year younger than me-sat beside me in the backseat.
We were driving down Morrill Avenue , with the Vietnamese radio station turned on and reporting this.
My grandmother had the same reaction as everyone and the world and poured her heart out vocally.
Once we arrived at school, every class was shut down.
Every period I had that day had no schoolwork.
We all went to each class and watched the news-too young to fully comprehend what the hell had just happened.
I think I speak for almost everyone who was alive at that time, that nobody has forgotten what they were doing and where they were at when this happened.
The scary thing is there is a now a generation of kids that never was around to witness this! Need to keep the memory alive!

I was in the Air Force National Guard out of Portland OR. I volunteered to help the Active Duty oversees.
My 1st day in uniform was 9/11. I was about 4 miles from Kuwait City, Kuwait. It was wild.
We were at the highest alert level in the military. Alert Level Delta means, you can't be more alert.
I went home after 3 weeks. Weird wild stuff
I watched this in the morning on tv from California at 13 years old. My dad would watch the news in the morning. He was a volunteer for the sheriff department at the time. I watched the buildings fall and then my dad took me to school like a normal day. A bunch of kids stayed home, about 1/3 of the school had no idea what happened yet. This was before social media and 4K cameras on phones. I think it affected anyone who saw it, life changed in many ways that day for a lot of people.
A girl who sat by me in class lost her dad in one of the towers. She said my dad went poof gone just like that. Her mom cried a lot. Now the girl is a professional counselor married to a solider and counsels veterans with PTSD. I’d say she fought back the darkness and is making a difference.

They are known as air phones but even then the signals on them would not have been strong enough in 2001 to transfer from station to station from a plane going 500+ mph. We’re talking old school Nokia’s here, no iPhones involved. There were only 2 cell phone calls on that plane and 1. you couldn’t hear anything in the background. 2. They were clear as day, which would have been impossible to from that height and 3. they were made when the plan was virtually making straight verticale descent. It’s just not possible

Yes, I was at work at the time, and as soon as we heard a second plane had hit, we all INSTANTLY knew it wasn't an accident. I still remember, a guy named Phil came out of the break room (watching the TV) and told everyone. That was the minute that the mood changed, from a normal day at work, to understanding that something big was happening.
Early reports on the radio actually described the first plane as a 'small, twin engine plane' (so everyone was picturing a little Cessna, or something, and assuming it had been an accident). From those early reports, you could easily have imagined that only the pilot was killed, and maybe a few people were injured as a Cessna bounced off the building and fell to the ground.
Exactly! I was 20 years old in college when it occurred and remember my classmates and I were glued to the television. It was within an hour all college classes were canceled, and everyone was told to go home.
Yeah I was watching in UK from just after 1st plane and the reports were just about the fire in the 1st tower and speculation about a missile and THEN the 2nd plane hit and the world changed.
I can still remember which newscaster said it on my local station, and how the initial report was that a small plane had hit. I had just woken up when the first plane hit, and saw the second one hit. There was no question it was an accident then.
It wasn't an accident. It was pre-planned and thoroughly executed by domestic terrorists known as the American government.

Hearing the impact is just unreal. And the fact that the plane was going so fast that the sound doesn't hit until seconds after the plane actually hit the buildings. I can't even fathom what the poor people on board went through in their final moments.

I remember seeing this on a live BBC news bulletin on holiday in Turkey, then having to fly back into London two days later..... tense would be the way to describe that flight for everyone on board.....
on that day I came home from school, turned on my tv and zapped though channels...

A 9:10 there is some type of buzzer/alarm that seems to go off immediately after the plane hits the south tower. Can anyone explain what this buzzer is and why it would be going off blocks away in what would seem like a response to the plane hitting the 2nd tower? This has bugged me for years.
Maybe when the plane hit it broke the mic on the camera because of the shockwave ? Not a tech guy but he seemed close and who knows how old/ reliable the camera was
I remember waking up and my mum had it on tv, i was just drinking my coffee when the second plane hit. Im not a morning person and i remember being so confused wondering if what i was watching was real or if it was somehow some twisted houx, its still to this day the most craziest, unbelievable morning ive ever had, i watched the tsunami that happened in Japan in the morning and even though i couldn't believe what i was seeing then it was nothing in comparison to 911. I still sometimes think about the people stuck in the buildings, what they must of been going through. It would of been an absolute nightmare. The ones that jumped, being left with only two horrible decisions, it depresses me to think that life can be so awful.
It's even scarier to hear people's reactions to the second plane because now they are understanding that it's an intentional act.

I have a friend who’s dad worked at the twin towers. On 9/11 he forgot a paper at his apartment. He went to his apartment to grab the paper when he was at his apartment the plane hit the twin towers. He was very very lucky to live. RIP to everyone who died in the towers

I got one question I've seen all the different angles from where the second plane hit the South Tower does anyone know what river that is the plane was flying over just before impact as I know there are a lot of different rivers in New York.

I've been obsessed with 9/11 lately. I was 11 when this happened but the memory of watching it happen live on tv is still vivid. This was a defining moment for my generation. This day sticks out more for me than any other day in my life this far. The world changed on 9/11/01 and it'll never go back
To all those innocent people who lost their lives on that tragic devastating day, your names will live on forever and may you all rest in peace. You will never be forgotten 😢😢
