The Wizards will only win games when they allow Poole to lead them as the talented and gifted Point guard he is who will make sure they are given the opportunity to shine and showcase their talent, but it will not be at the expense of sacrificing the team's ability to win. Very few players will ever have the opportunity to gain experience playing with championship players like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson and earn the tight to play starter position with them by earning your stripes in the G League. Poole knows what he is doing and if the other players want to be on a winning team they had better follow Jordan Poole's lead. This is klnd of opportunity that comes only once in a player's career if at all. Poole has already taken ad advantage of his career changing opportunity by playing with his dream mentor and dream team. Plus i think Jones will be on ball setting up the offense more than Poole, so Gafford, Advija, and Coulibaly should get plenty of touches if they are active. I do agree with the comment about stagnation. If players feel there is no purpose in cutting to open spaces, they won't try as hard and will ball watch the stars.

That wing to wing pass that Poole would’ve had to make over his defender is too difficult and too risky because it could easily been picked off by the defense. By the time Poole drove to his right, a defender already showed up to cover both Rollins and Avdija. It’s good that Poole made the shot, but just so we’re clear, the pass that Avdija should’ve gotten was from Rollins, not Poole. That’s not to say that Poole isn’t playing terribly, especially lately, I’m just saying this one isn’t necessarily on him. Present some other glaring piece of evidence (trust me, there’s a lot, maybe look for footage from the Celtics game), or call this witch hunt off.
