I went to this one a few weekends ago on a free weekend in the middle of a 3 week business trip in the city. All I have to say is WOW. It was worth every penny and I literally cannot wait to go back to show my wife. It was so relaxing that I crashed immediately when I got back to my hotel after 8 hours there.
just did the one in Milan. it was unreal! the one on gov island doesnt look as big, but im sure it's great. the one in milan had this amazing room where you sat in a jacuzzi chair and there was a 360 immersive video surrounding you and the videos would be like a storm or rain forest and then it would rain from the ceiling. it was the best part of the day.
I was amazed by the pictures I saw on Instagram stories about this spa. When I went, it was on a rainy day so I didn’t get in the pool. Without the pool side, the spa isn’t great. The space and environment is more than claustrophobic. The lay out is terrible. They’ve got little tiny overcrowded rooms with too many people. The tiny “cafe” is a joke. You’ll probably have to sit on someone’s lap. Omg! It’s just not spacious enough. Who laid this out?? I was dying to leave the minute I got there but I was forced to stay cause I had a massage booked. It got boring real quick. And it’s so cumbersome to get there. Waiting on a ferry 🙄 The ferry station resembles a jail. The sandals tore my feet up too. I would say this is Somewhere between a Hampton Inn in and a subway. Put your money in your pocket and go to McDonalds.
To everyone saying it’s boring, like yea there aren’t any arcade rooms or slides at the pool lmao but I am definitely looking for an escape from my every day fast pace life. I am going today. Wish me luck

I wish they have different jacuzzi tubs out door and indoor like milk or wine hot tubs like what they have in Japan. The little rooms are just gimmick smh.
As a past resident of that island i'm sure glad to see there filling those beautiful historic buildings with Yuppie crap. A large part of my childhood has been torn down to make way for coffee shops and food trucks. Soon it will be fully erased from the islands landscape.

Really love what they've done with the place. Looks bloody amazing, and wicked views of New York.
