Your videos are outstanding in both presentation and content. I've been feasting on them lately and have enjoyed every single one. Too many recommendations to remember all, so I've started a ' Maree's makeup and skincare' file for products that interest me, that I haven't already tried. So glad I found your channel as it is a cut above. Thanks and regards, Deb.
Hi! Excellent video and very informative...I share your love for Tata Harper!! I have her cleansing oil and love all her cleansers....Also really enjoy the Clinique cleansing balm. Take care and keep up the good wok!😉🙋🏻
I love your channel, thank you for all of your reviews! I was in Costco yesterday and saw SK II essence, the BIG bottle, 11 oz, for $189, that's $100 less than Sephora! If you're a lover of this essence, pick it up, I doubt they'll have it forever.
When I was 19 (22 now) Clarins Double Serum was the first "real" skin care product I bought with my own money! Such a cool feeling haha & It was so expensive but I just needed it. Never repurchased but I know I will in a couple of years, I will! On my young skin, it gave me glow and a even texture lol told a few teacher to get it and trust me, I'm pretty sure that's how I passed my English class😂💕 huge fan of you Maree❤️
Such a lovely video and so many great suggestions. I brought the First Aid Radiance Pads after watching one of your videos and haven't looked back, so thank you for such good recommendations. x
We have such similar skincare tastes. I have around half of the products you have mentioned - dangerous tho as I may just have to get the second half of them! Thanks hun.
Yes, love it. I’ve got a new list to try now. I’m surprised you didn’t mention Estée Lauder’s Night Repair though since you spoke highly about it in previous vids. It’s a product on my favorites list.
Great video Maree :) So many fab products. I too love the Clairns Double Serum and totally agree with you - a lovely consistent product. Recently rediscovered Dermalogica so I think I might try their mask you recommend, it sounds great. Thanks for the fabulous videos you put out. Have a great day ☺
Have you tried drunk elephant? I really love the framboos product and the vitamin-c serum. You might enjoy some Mahalo products too. The indigo balm is divine. I love the Mahalo vitality elixir at night. A new fave for me is the Ren glycolic mask. It is so effective!
Love all your suggestions! Have you ever tried the Sonia Kashuk Renew Micro-Exfoliating Toner? I think you would really like it!! Its on the top of my favorites list with the pixie glow tonic!
I'm in my second bottle of Good Genes and it really is AMAZING. You're skin is sooooo beautiful so I think I'm going to get every single item in your list 😄.
I love your channel! Have recently subscribed and have gone back and watched lots of your other videos too.I appreciate your helpful recommendations and especially agree with your recommendation for the Dermalogica Multivitamin recovery Masque ❤️! My wish list of products to try, is getting longer and longer LOL.Thanks for your great videos... Keep them coming😀
Love this video Maree! Do you have a favorite eye cream/serum for fine lines? I don't have issues with dark circles or bags, but I'm noticing my fine lines are becoming more noticeable.
Not particularly - I typically would gravitate towards something very hydrating. Eye creams are not my skincare product of choice and many do the same thing for me so I just reach for one that is rich and/or hydrating. Tatcha makes some great ones. For a major splurge, I really enjoy La Prairie. The Skin Caviar eye cream is stunning.
Thanks Maree, great video. Nice to learn what your favorites are. Do you think the Dermalogica mask is suitable for dry skin? Also would like to know how you use the rescue mask. The one time I tried it it made my skin look terrible. It was to dry to put on my face. Thank you so much! X Emilie
I think the dermalogica mask would be suitable for dry skin because of how moisturizing it is. I use the Rescue Mask as a normal mask after cleansing. It did wonders for me! I only use it as needed rather than as a regular product in my routine. Such a bummer that it didn't work for you! :(
Thnx! I like most Eve Lom products but this just didn't do it for me that time. I will definitely try the Dermalogica one. But then again you recommended so many great masks that it is actually difficult to choose one to try first. Any help? My skin is particularly dry/dehydrated at the moment. I think many can relate during this time of year!
Obviously Sisley masks are amazing at helping with dry/dehydration, but the Dermalogica one really helps to give the skin a boost! I am never without it in my collection.
I used my black rose mask yesterday. I think I will do the mask givre tonight. It makes me look like I have slept for 24 hours and is very nourishing as well! Dermalogica looks like a good one to pull out when you need a little extra!
Have you tried any of the Amore Pacific products that are like Tatcha? I have been using the Enzyme Peel and it is amazing! I have rosacea so it's gentle but does the job and does it well. I also use their oil cleanser and love it. Repurchased both of these numerous times! ;) I actually just purchased the Tatcha oil cleanser with the VIB Rouge Sephora discount. We shall see......
Have you ever tried the Nip+Fab Glycolic exfoliating skin polish? It's not high end but is one of my favorites! I too have very oily skin so my pores congest easily. It Smells like a citrus spa but not overly drying w the GLYCOLIC acid. $10 for a tube at cvs. I use my skin cleansing oil to remove makeup, then the Nip+Fab to cleanse and polish.
A Little Bit etc yes. I agree with that. I don't care for any of their other products I've tried either. I tried the Glycolic exfoliating polish cleanser stuff prior to their other products & I still use it. EVERYTHING else I've ever tried from Nip*Fab has gotten thrown out unfortunately.
very interested to try the Neal's yard remedies beauty sleep concentrate to get rid of the darkness around my nose I'm saving up for the good genes since I have heard so many good things about it great video as always :)
Thanks, Anne! I don't think the Neal's Yard Remedies concentrate gets rid of darkness - it is more for helping calm and rejuvenate the skin, not tackle any hyperpigmentation. The reduction in redness I found when using this was more because it helps soothe my skin. The Good Genes would help with hyperpigmentation and dark spots more.
Many of your favorites are my HG products too, and you gave me ideas on what else to try. Thank you! 😊 I have both the SR Good Genes and the Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Daily Peel. I love them both, but I've yet to come up with the right rotation schedule for them, plus the SkinMedica 1% Retinol serum, that maximizes effectiveness without causing flaking/irritation. I don't have particularly sensitive or problem skin but I did get over-zealous with these 3 products in the beginning and have had to scale back. Do you have a recommendation on how frequently to use each and in what order if they are best used in a daily rotation? Thanks!
I love my Artemis too, I always use it under serum and moisturizer. I always thought that is the proper way to layer the oil and then lock it in with a moisturizer. In any case, have you heard about her new oil UFO? It's also for 'oily' skin - wondering if this will replace Artemis..if I should buy back ups or perhaps just starting buying UFO. I tried a sample and it was great, but it is more of a 'treatment'. THoughts??
It has salicylic acid in it so I don't think I would use it every single day like I do the Artemis oil, but I have to see when it arrives how it feels on my skin!
Alright I think I'm gonna give my MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel thing another shot. I finished my first bottle and had a hard time seeing any major difference. I ended up rushing to finish it by using it on my body lol. I'll try it again since it wasn't too pricey and will probably use it regularly, like you said. Pixi Glow and the First Aid Radiance pads were too gentle for my skin type.. Have you tried PTR's Pumpkin Enzyme Mask? If you have, what are your thoughts on it? Loved this video by the way, very informative
Yes Pixi Glow and Radiance pads are very gentle - if you want something serious when it comes to peel pads, you need the Bluemercury ones I mentioned or the Dr. Dennis Gross ones. Cane + Austin makes some heavy duty peel pads that I LOVE. Colbert MD Facial Pads are also quite intensive and very effective. The PTR mask was nice and smelled good - I wouldn't repurchase it however.
Will you do a review of your laprairie products? I bought the Anti-aging booster at your suggesting and love. Am currently looking at the sunscreen and wanted to see your thoughts!
I definitely have a ton of reviews on the La Prairie brand on my site, though I don't have a brand specific video planned. I have already reviewed their new sunscreen on my blog - and if you type in La Prairie in my search bar, you will find most of the posts where I have reviewed or discussed the products from the range I have tried. :) Glad you enjoyed the Anti-Aging Booster - it's such a unique product!
I love Artemis!! I do have a couple back ups...sad to hear they are discontinuing. I did see a new SR UFO. Do you have any thoughts on this new oil? Also interested in the Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner also by SR.
Have been trying to ask around and look up this question for awhile. I heard you say you keep back ups. For example I rarely wear makeup but I have wanted to buy the take the day off balm. Noticed it didn't have a seal on it to keep it clean. For someone who loves to have lots of backups. How do you know how many back ups to buy or how long they will be ok unopened. I use a fridge for some of my backups.
I don't worry about it too much. I worked at Sephora back in the day and you would be shocked how long things have been in store and are still fine. I also worked for tons of beauty companies and a baby skincare company over the past 12 years and am VERY familiar with what brands need to legally say about expiration dates. The reality is the product is fine even after the expiration date - it's not food so it doesn't spoil. Occasionally from time to time, I will find that I may have had a product too long (I'm talking YEARS and YEARS) and it's not as effective anymore, but I have never had an adverse reaction to "expired' products. I frankly never stress about it. And refrigerating a product will do nothing for it. If the product needs to be refrigerated, it would need to be done when you first purchase it and it would be kept the same way in the store.
love your video I'm 25 and skincare junkie all my friends at work say I should be a sales person or do blogs because I just love sharing my new products with them lol. however I have really tried so many things and I love most of it but I still have not found the best or go to exfoliating. I have a few ingrowns that I try to get rid of by exfoliating either with light scrubs or powders and chemical one.. anyways what do u recommend as an exfoliant either weekly or daily that is just really great?? and I have used so many from dennis gross extra strength/ alpha beta to sisley buffing and even la prairie 3 minute peel but I still have some issues... I do want to add just got pmd and only used once but hopefully that will work... and the tria ...I guess men are not supposed to use on face 😲
Every one is different so I understand that, but mineral oil doesn't bother my skin so I am not opposed to it. And this serum is AMAZING and has done wonders for my skin (as well as tons of my friends whom I've recommended it to), so I will keep using it and recommending it! But there are so many serums out there to choose from, so that each person can find one that exactly works for them with the ingredients they love! :)
+A Little Bit etc . There are tonnes of serums I use just the skincare junkie in me is curious and hesitant. you know when you've worked hard on getting your skin right and don't want to mess it up. That's how I feel
Omg your skin is fabulous! Could you please review the Beenigma face creme? please? I have been wanting to try it but I need a good review first. thanks! I hope you reply back! you're flawless BTW!
Thanks! Sadly I am not too interested in that product so I am not planning on reviewing it. Unfortunately I can't review every product out there so I have to pick and choose only what truly interests me! :)
Hey there! Great video! I am a big fan of your channel. I was wondering if you have tried any of the Dr. Colbert products? I would love to hear your opinion! Specifically, on the Illumino oil! :-)
Thank you so much for responding! I see from your review that Illumino contains vitamin c. Can you use this oil at night, and a C serum during the day? Or is that overkill?? Thanks!!!!
Tatcha isn't the name of the founder of the brand, Tatcha is just the name of the brand. The name of the founder is Victoria (Vickey) Tsai. Just an FYI. Love this vid!!
Yup I know that. I've been using it for more than 4 years so I am totally familiar with the history. I said "she" because I know Victoria founded the brand, but then referred to it as Tatcha again when talking about the brand as a whole beginning the enzyme powder trend. It probably sounded like I was making them one in the same, but I know the difference. Thanks for watching! :)
I don't have a favorite one, but this post has tons of great exfoliators listed. I prefer chemical exfoliators rather than scrubs. www.alittlebitetc.com/2018/02/the-3-active-ingredients-i-look-for-in.html
hi maree, i read on above that you've tried drunk elephant, how about the drunk elephant vit c ,have you tried it? if yes, kindly give your thought between it and ola henriksen truth serum, thx
I have tried an alarming number of these considering I’m 22 and only started working a year ago 😂 I find the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser nice, but not outstanding. MB enzyme I lost interest in and gave away. Eve Lom Cleanser - I never got the hype, the texture creeps me out it’s weirdly mushy as if the grits and oils have separated....I do like the Rescue Mask though, I enjoy the smell and mintiness.
Thank goodness there are so many products out there so we can all find what we love! Right?! I absolutely love all these products but definitely understand how many people may not enjoy them. What products do you love and repurchase over and over?
I just filmed a video today on that exact topic - the order in which I apply my skincare! Yay! It will be up early next week. And if after that, you still have some questions about a specific product - please let me know. :)
Nope. Mineral oil doesn't bother my skin so I don't go out of my way to avoid it. And clearly it works for so many people as well since it's such a popular product! LOL
I do believe that mineral oil doesn't work for a lot of people and that it makes them break out, but for me that is not the case. However I do tell my readers to ALWAYS go with what works with their skin regardless of recommendations.
Pixi glow tonic is average, Dr Dennis Gross exfoliating lads are nice but not worth the splurge for me - I also feel uncomfortable using skincare that’s single use and then gets thrown as I worry it creates a lot of waste? I’m starting Good Genes but not sure if it’s breaking me out eek (also you can probably tell I’ve been binge watching your videos haha while I cook and clean I’ve been commenting on really old ones)
You should definitely use what you love and works for you! :) I absolutely love these products and am grateful to be able to test products for a living so I have the chance to try many wonderful things and then can figure out what really works for me.
Some great products!! I love, love, love SR Artemis & am horrified at the thought of living without it (#firstworldproblems) I have a bottle I've just opened and a backup, so I should be good for a while... 💕
Kate Somerville Exfolikate has grown on me, I am starting to find little scrubbies satisfying. I did NOT notice the SKII essence doing anything RIP my wallet 😅😅
Not really to be honest - if we are talking the products I have used the longest and really enjoyed - these are them. However, if you look through all the products I featured in this video, the price points are quite varied. The Pixi Glow Tonic is $15, the Clinique Cleansing Balm I discuss is under $30 and lasts forever, the MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel is under $25 for 16 oz, and the Paula's Choice Toner is under $30.
Thanks! That is great to hear - hope you find some products that you fall in love with! :)
I do this too!!
Skincare vids are always my fave 💜
Hi Maree, so in love with your choices. Please do a video for the makeup you've used the longest too.
I have one coming out in a few days on the makeup products I am loving right now and am using regularly!
Your skincare recommendations are superb.Always look forward to your videos.
Thanks!
oh my god, i thought you were in your 20s! definitely going to listen to those skincare recommendations : ) great video as always! xx
Thank you for sharing your skincare products. You have amazing skin. I wish to see your daily (am, pm) skincare routines. 🤗🌺
Hi! Excellent video and very informative...I share your love for Tata Harper!! I have her cleansing oil and love all her cleansers....Also really enjoy the Clinique cleansing balm. Take care and keep up the good wok!😉🙋🏻
I tried FAB peel pads after your recommendation and it is really gentle for my combination and sensitive skin. Love the smell as well!
I can't.. Your skin is absoluteley flawless and smooth-loking. Cheers to a skincare victim☺️🍸
LOL
I love your channel, thank you for all of your reviews! I was in Costco yesterday and saw SK II essence, the BIG bottle, 11 oz, for $189, that's $100 less than Sephora! If you're a lover of this essence, pick it up, I doubt they'll have it forever.
Great deal!!
I'm a new sub, I stumbled upon ur channel after looking for Tatcha reviews and I looove how you're all about skincare since so am I. New fan here! ❤️
Thanks!!!
Ha! Too funny. :)
Just discovered you. Sure glad I did. I love talking skincare.
Such a lovely video and so many great suggestions. I brought the First Aid Radiance Pads after watching one of your videos and haven't looked back, so thank you for such good recommendations. x
Great! Glad they worked for you. :)
I had tried ANR for the first time right before that video so I hadn't used it long enough to know whether it would be a regular in my routine. :)
Great video Maree :) So many fab products. I too love the Clairns Double Serum and totally agree with you - a lovely consistent product. Recently rediscovered Dermalogica so I think I might try their mask you recommend, it sounds great. Thanks for the fabulous videos you put out. Have a great day ☺
Right?! It's almost hard to explain what it does - but I know my skin loves it! LOL
Have you tried drunk elephant? I really love the framboos product and the vitamin-c serum. You might enjoy some Mahalo products too. The indigo balm is divine. I love the Mahalo vitality elixir at night. A new fave for me is the Ren glycolic mask. It is so effective!
I have tried Drunk Elephant and enjoyed many of their products!
Love all your suggestions! Have you ever tried the Sonia Kashuk Renew Micro-Exfoliating Toner? I think you would really like it!! Its on the top of my favorites list with the pixie glow tonic!
I have not but thanks for the recommendation!
I'm in my second bottle of Good Genes and it really is AMAZING. You're skin is sooooo beautiful so I think I'm going to get every single item in your list 😄.
Good Genes is a miracle product! LOL
Hahahaha your humor is fabulous and makes these videos so much fun to look at ❤️
Love this session! Thank you very much for doing this video!!
As a perfume lover i could not help but notice the Escada at the back, is it the summer turquoise one?
Yes it is!
I love your channel! Have recently subscribed and have gone back and watched lots of your other videos too.I appreciate your helpful recommendations and especially agree with your recommendation for the Dermalogica Multivitamin recovery Masque ❤️! I love your skincare videos!!! I am just wondering if the dermalogica active moist is good for dry skin. Thanks
It may not be hydrating enough, but I can't really be certain.
X Emilie

really love this video sooo helpful altho i am still young but i really enjoy ur skincare video
I bought the sk2 facial treatment essence in japan, and it was half the price here in the states.
good for you! What a save!
Very helpful video! Do you generally use Good Genes in the morning or evening? Thanks!
In the evening mostly.

You have me interested in a few products!!! Do you use any kind of Retin-A product in your routine?
I don't use prescription strength, but I enjoy REN Bio-Retinoid, Luna Oil and Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic and Retinol Serum.
Many of your favorites are my HG products too, and you gave me ideas on what else to try. Thank you! 😊
I have both the SR Good Genes and the Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Daily Peel. Thanks for this video! Adding my products to my list 😃
*more
The list is never ending I bet - just like mine!
I love Artemis!! I do have a couple back ups...sad to hear they are discontinuing. I did see a new SR UFO. Do you have any thoughts on this new oil? Also interested in the Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner also by SR.
I was wondering the same! I reached out and she said they are both en route to her so she should have updates for us coming!
I should be receiving it by next week so hopefully I can give my thoughts on it a few weeks after that. :)
Have been trying to ask around and look up this question for awhile. I heard you say you keep back ups. For example I rarely wear makeup but I have wanted to buy the take the day off balm. i added so much stuff to my list...
i am 25 and was thinking in getting the clarins double serum for my mom ♡ do you think i should use it as well?
It's a good one - but I don't think you will see significant results yet.
love your video I'm 25 and skincare junkie all my friends at work say I should be a sales person or do blogs because I just love sharing my new products with them lol. however I have really tried so many things and I love most of it but I still have not found the best or go to exfoliating. Perhaps try the Cane + Austin 30% Glycolic pads. They are VERY strong but give the strongest exfoliation I have ever tried.
Just discovered you here and I'm glad I did :)) great videos!!!!
Hi I really want to try Clarins double serum but it has mineral oil which isn't good for the skin.
Every one is different so I understand that, but mineral oil doesn't bother my skin so I am not opposed to it. And this serum is AMAZING and has done wonders for my skin (as well as tons of my friends whom I've recommended it to), so I will keep using it and recommending it! Of course! No need to rock the boat when you have a good thing going - I totally get it!
Thanks for sharing your experiences and insights. Please keep posting : )
Omg your skin is fabulous! Could you please review the Beenigma face creme? please? I have been wanting to try it but I need a good review first. thanks! I hope you reply back! you're flawless BTW!

Thank you my dear! Have a nice week end!
Hey there! Great video! I am a big fan of your channel. I was wondering if you have tried any of the Dr. Colbert products? I would love to hear your opinion! Specifically, on the Illumino oil! :-)
I have! Search my blog and you will find my reviews. :)
Could you pls recommend your most favourite exfoliate recently? I like your video and your comment much❤
I don't have a favorite one, but this post has tons of great exfoliators listed. I prefer chemical exfoliators rather than scrubs. www.alittlebitetc.com/2018/02/the-3-active-ingredients-i-look-for-in.html
I love this video!!!! Skincare favorites are my favorite!! :))) Thank you!
hi maree, i read on above that you've tried drunk elephant, how about the drunk elephant vit c ,have you tried it? if yes, kindly give your thought between it and ola henriksen truth serum, thx
I prefer the ole henriksen serum. The Drunk Elephant has a stickier texture which sometimes can bother me.
+A Little Bit etc thankyou
What is your routine order? I’m dealing with dehydrated skin but still want to exfoliate.
I just filmed a video today on that exact topic - the order in which I apply my skincare! Yay! It will be up early next week. And if after that, you still have some questions about a specific product - please let me know. :)
did u tried the cosrx bha one ? would u still prefer the paulas choice one?
I have not yet though I believe I have it in my cabinet.
I love Paula's Choice products, I have several and swear by them.
got a lot of great recommendations from this video (: thanks.
first video from you actually
Have you tried any korean skin care products too? 😊
Oh yes - I have tried a ton of them!
Wow dermalogica multivitamin mask is also my top 3, and I've tried hundreds including Japanese n Koreans :)
Love your videos!!!!
Thanks!
Aren't you worried about Eve Lom cleanser containing mineral oil? x
Nope. Mineral oil doesn't bother my skin so I don't go out of my way to avoid it. And clearly it works for so many people as well since it's such a popular product! LOL
A Little Bit etc i used it and it was beautiful people just try to scare us :) x
:) I absolutely love these products and am grateful to be able to test products for a living so I have the chance to try many wonderful things and then can figure out what really works for me.
great video girl
Thanks!
Im 16 and watch your videos lol
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Well good to know! Thanks for watching! :)
love this video! I took notes! 😂
Some great products!! I love, love, love SR Artemis & am horrified at the thought of living without it (#firstworldproblems) I have a bottle I've just opened and a backup, so I should be good for a while... 💕
I have high hopes for the new UFO oil, but nothing can ever replace Artemis. It's such a wonderful oil!
Kate Somerville Exfolikate has grown on me, I am starting to find little scrubbies satisfying. I did NOT notice the SKII essence doing anything RIP my wallet 😅😅
Bummer! My skin still loves it after all these years!
all your products are expensive high end. do you have any drug store loves?
Not really to be honest - if we are talking the products I have used the longest and really enjoyed - these are them. However, if you look through all the products I featured in this video, the price points are quite varied. The Pixi Glow Tonic is $15, the Clinique Cleansing Balm I discuss is under $30 and lasts forever, the MB Enzyme Cleansing Gel is under $25 for 16 oz, and the Paula's Choice Toner is under $30.
Unfortunately most good skincare are always pricier. You get what you pay for imo.
