I think I’d make more sense for AC1 to be remade since Mirage is returning to the Middle East and top of that the Classic AC filter (really it’s more of an Acre filter, that’s more of a nitpick though) AC4 if it’s going to be remade I really don’t it to be an RPG with dialogue options or gender choices, If it’s the same story with more Gear choices like Unity than that’d be pretty cool
I also could imagine that Ubisoft doesn't want to remake AC1 now, because AC Mirage to some extend acts as a spiritual succesor to AC1 and the Ezio Trilogy.
I think if Black flag is getting remade, the combat systems would be in-between the modern hitboxes & the old style of combat, similar to new AC games like Mirage. Black Flag also had the upgraded armor so they would prolly keep that the same.
You dont need to rethink everything about AC4, so it would be easier to do. A remake to ac1 would be started from literally 0 as you cant really keep much from it

Absolutely. Let the Pirate ppl get their game but give us AC 1 remake first. It is still my favourite AC of all. But I really hope to get a crusader arming sword that we can use in game.

One thing that boggles my mind a little bit is how Ubi greenlighted a Black Flag remake and there's still no word on the first game and/or the Ezio trilogy. Those four games, especially the first one could use a revamp both to refresh the experience for us who've played from the beginning as well as attracting newer audiences who may have started later and went backwards. Still, I'll take a Black Flag remake if there is one, but I hope this news means the start of a renovated "Original" AC series. Can't wait for October.

As a stealth player who has played each AC game multiple times over past ten years, I've only managed to mostly stealth the whole game in syndicate and kind of origins unlike what people think would be the case with Unity but they became repeable playstyle pretty much,like syndicate could pull it off with making Evie more stealthy so it would add replayability. newer AC games direct you more towards direct combat gameplay with fun builds or perks on gears and weapons. While they could do the same for stealth like gears which let you recover throwing knife through headshots or same with poison darts or any assassin stealth weapons or even more adrenaline segment for new teleport assassination ability but that's too simple they can give fun ideas for stealth perks and weapons even if they're not looking for making the game like an rpg it's still doable to make the game not boring and actually with tons of replayability. Like dishonored which is IMO the real Assassin game,I can't tell you how many times I played through the second game because of mix of abilities with charms you could almost make a build in the way you want to play the game and the game was simple and nothing like a RPG. whish Ubisoft could do that one day with it's supposed stealth game
Id much rather ubisoft make a new pirate era AC then remake 4. 4 plays fine as is and has been remastered, 1 is the only game that really needs a full on remake. It's also the only game in the series that can't be played on any modern consoles iirc. A new pirate era game with updated naval mechanics and having all the perks of being a PS5/Series X gen game would be really cool imo.

I wouldn't go as far as saying "wide" but there should (hopefully!) be some new finishers that are adapted to the use of the sword / scimitar and the dagger!

You right, is the developers know anything about the ten commandments of Assassin's Creed anyway? They can put detail like giving toggle to hood to create immersion but no, instead they make some random Iraq man into nightcrawler from X-Men and call it a day.
They can't remove an entire feature two and a half months from release. Besides they confirmed it's entirely optional and can actually get you in trouble if you don't plan it right in the AMA.
They cannot remove the animation, that would make the feature unusable. They didn't spend time and resources on it just to remove it because we don't like it, it's quite obvious they don't care.
Black Flag was the very first good ac game. Well revelations was ok but outdated and awful when you go back and play it now. I hope they add the extra bit with Adewale into the main game instead of a dlc as before

It would a dumb decision to remaster/remake ACIV. (As great as it is). The original AC needs it much more than IV.

I can't say that I'm dying for a Black Flag remake. It was a great game, but I've played through it enough times now that I'm good.
I hope this one actually has good stealth meaning fun and unable to get detected throughout the whole game without having bad enemy AI
They remodelled the ai and put all focus on stealth

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag doesn't need any remake. It's better on it's own and better than new AC games, better graphics than new games.
