Curious. Which opinion on George changed?
I just always had the impression he was more about it for the money, especially with the prequels. I think that's still partially true but it feels like here that its something he really cares about.
Happy that Disney didn't ditch George.

I am still overwhelmed by the Star Wars community. The people more than the announcements made Celebration a truly special place. 2019 can't come soon enough!

There's 3 generations of fans so far- the original trilogy, the prequels (my generation. born in 98), and now a whole new trilogy. However we all have something in common- our love for Star Wars
98er here! I cant even remember when I became a Star Wars fan! It was everything I could ever talk/think about! All the games I played... All the Comics Ive bought... All the Toys my mom spent her money on.
Also a little Trivia. My Birthday became an important star wars day last year, not a very happy one but nonetheless. I was born on the 27th Decemeber.
thats the prequel generation. Clone Wars started in 08. I think the prequel generation stops around 05 these guys were 10 when TFA released and are part of the sequel generation.
I'm Prequel Era but I was born in 87 sandwiched between the last Original trilogy film & the beginning of the Prequel.

I guess I'm from the prequel generation since my first star wars experience was the very first episode of star wars the clone wars series. I remember being amazed by Yoda and the clones but falling in love with the battle droids.
Can't wait for them to announce the location for 2019 so I can go to my first Celebration!

I'm freaking out with all the Clone Wars cosplays! I'm so happy seeing the fellow clone wars fans, more cosplays then Rebels, clone wars is my childhood, that's how I got connected to Star Wars.
that old Ben Kenobi cosplay broke my heart.. my grand dad was the one to get me into star wars when i was a kid, caught'em all in theater's since.. gonna miss him this year.

This is worldwide phenomenon that will never happen again.
I am 30 years old, saw New Hope when I was 6 and since then everytime I see SW movie, game, hear The Force Theme I am going back to be this little kid who got absolutely astonished with the SW Universe.

Yazite i went to the London was, specifically for the Saturday one as there was the rogue one panel and mark hamill ( although could not see them for real, had to watch them on that huuge tv screen) but still, the best day of my entire life!! 😄😄😄

The Star Wars community is probably the best one ever, so supportive always there for the actors, creators and all the other staff its such a beautiful thing to see! I love Star Wars I hope it will never end!!

I didn't attend the Celebration, but i watch all the live stream, and it still make me cry seeing such a powerful spirit shown by the fans.

I feel so crappy now that it's over, but I watch these videos and they warm my heart. I love Star Wars. I love Star Wars fans. Thank you to all those who attended who made it one of the best weekends of my life.

this celebration was not like any. this became a reunion of a family that we knew and loved. a family member that past that will stay in our hearts. a family member that had a bad feeling about this. a family member who passed... the force. i love this celebration which was also a 40th anniversary of Star Wars. we cried most times when we remember the good past of THE start of a family that we forever know. this is the celebration to remember

Battlefront Express and when they showed Ps4 package with Battlefront 2 where two fans won this and they are so lucky now that they can play it before the official premiere :p
I miss it already it was my first con. It will be a weekend I'll always remember for the rest of my life. The Star Wars community that I'll never forget at my first con. I can't wait for 2019 I'll be saving up again for Celebration Thanks for the life long memories Star Wars Celebration till next time.

This was the best vacation I've ever had, and will be one of my most cherished memories. Thanks you so much for Star Wars. My life wouldn't be the same without it. I can't wait for my next Celebration

The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

It was my first Star Wars Celebration and I LOVED IT! It has been so hard coming to work this week...SO HARD. I cannot wait to do it again with my family.

Beautiful real. Amazing how many lives Star Wars has touched. I feel the franchise is in pretty good hands right now.
@AirBarbecue233 Meowrom I actually still stand by that statement. Episode IX wasn't perfect, but far from the terrible film some make it out to be. Episode VIII has become one of my favorite films in the series, despite some confusion on my first viewing, Solo was a ton of fun, Mandalorian is mostly great, The Clone Wars had a great final season, and we have a number of really cool projects coming up, not to mention that EA also finally seems to get things right with Battlefront II turning it around, Jedi: Fallen Order and Squadrons both being fantastic games. On top of that, after playing mostly second fiddle for years (although still with some fantastic works, like Thrawn, Phasma, Lost Stars, Doctor Aphra and Charles Seoul's Darth Vader), novels and comics got a great boost through The High Republic.
I mean, seriously, what is there to honestly complain about, apart from some pretty common (for a multimedia franchise this size) misfires?

I never will forget this wonderful experience, especially since I'm in this video lol. But this was my first ever Star Wars Celebration and I got to meet so many amazing people and be among other Star Wars fans that had that same passion and love for Star Wars as I did. I can't wait for 2019 where I can be among them again and share this amazing experience one more time.

I went to this with my best friend who introduced me to Star Wars, which has changed my life, so when I walked through those Convention Center doors, just to see the whole fan base, was one of the best moments of my life.
