Hi, may you advise how to enable the magnetic swipe function on VX520 softpay?
+WL KHOR >> it should automatically activate when your merchant acciunt provider activates your account. if they have disabled it for some reason then you have to contact them.
Is there anyway to make the transactions faster? Mine has been super slow since we received it. Thank you!
+Michelle Kim >> Michelle. the speed is primarily due to two things. 1. the type of terminal you're using 2. the speed of your connection (everything is moving to internet connection)

My machine’s red back button isn’t working forcing me to have to reboot the system every time I accidentally enter any option menu. Is there anything I can do or should I look into a warranty replacement?

My verifone had a data wire error but turns out it needed a partial download. Now the screen is telling me Download Needed GO Not Authenticated. What do I do?
Hey. I just updated the EMV. I went back in to change something else and now my alpha key will not work on the password screen. If I press alpha key it works as normal. If I open the password screen it will beep if I try to use alpha key with nothing else. If I do the 1 first, then it’ll do nothing and not beep. Tried looking around but I haven’t seen anybody else with this issue.
You'll need technical support help. If you don't have an account manager and want help with issues like this one I can take over the management of your merchant account and reprogram the machine.

you'll have to send it to an authorized terminal repair shop so they can reprogram the unit so you can load it again.

The VX520 is actually approaching it's end of service date and you'll be required to upgrade the machine.

How do I unlock the box 520c?
This code is not working on my machine. It is a verifone vx520. When I eneter the code it tells me wrong password. Any other tips for this?

There is a standard password for verifone terminals but it does depend on who your processor is.

Additionally the vx510 is probably phased out with your processor because it doesn't meet the EMV requirements. If you want a free upgrade message and I'll get you a free terminal. -Brian

Then it's telling you to batch out the terminal. You need to settle out first.

How to wipe a password from a vx 520 ?
Is there a way to put a password only for a refund?
Yes that can be done, but won't be able to be done with the VX520 because its out of service (end of life)

If that password is not working then you have it programmed by proprietary network or there's something wrong with your unit.

Btw, the vx520 is being phased out and is at the "end of life" ... your gonna need to replace it soon anyway.

Helpppp vx 680 there's no alpha key
Press 8, when it prompts you for password try 754777, press enter and answer No to unlock screen. Should do the trick.
Password is not working
Then you probably have a merchant account that is programmed to a different style merchant account .

Press 8, Enter 11739 for Password. It will proceed as Brian directed.
