Several long benches are occupied by several smaller groups of people. I have a little story, so gather round the hearth and hear my tale if you wish. About 9 years ago, me and a bunch of Xbox 360 friends all bought Skyrim, we each went our separate ways, I became a sword and shield warrior, and my friends became a thief, a mage, and a stealth archer. during major updates, we'd all come together to meet back in The Bannered Mare, sit down drink some Nord Mead, and see how each other was doing, slowly we drifted apart but always came back to the Bannered Mare. One day the thief didn't show up, (he didn't join the skype call, and he appeared offline) he never showed back online ever again. We all joked and laughed about glitches, shared tips on quests, and even played WoW together, but the Bannered Mare was where our homebase was. I don't have contact with mage anymore, last I heard the mage has a wife and kids, the stealth archer occasionally shoots a text once every other eclipse, just seeing how things are. This music reminds me of those days. So keep your friends close, ask them how they're doing, and always enjoy your time together to the fullest, because you don't know when those fun times will come to an abrupt and somber end. That is my tale traveler, and I wish you well on your adventures ahead, and always watch out for a stray arrow heading towards your knee.
