Since we are talking about rebounding I think Claude is gonna end up getting more minutes especially later in the season. His rebounding and pick and roll ability are going to earn him playing time. I think he will thrive with UNC.
If you know the history of Carolina basketball then you'd know the team goes as the PG goes. In 85 a freshman named Kenny Smith broke his wrist which ruined Jordan's shot at a second NCAA championship and in 94 Derrick Phelps took a hard foul from Bill Curry Boston Colleges big man and broke his wrist in the ACC tournament which dashed the chances of back to back NCAA championships with 4 starters returning from a National Championship team and two freshman added to the roster with the names Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse. The 94 team was the most talented team in the nation but the absence due to injury to Phelps ended that run so Kendall Marshall's injury is a jinx UNC teams carry with them
Seth Trimble could be the x-factor on defense. I think he also has the ability to be powerful on offense.
Cade Tyson has to be the X factor because of his height Go Heels!!
Last year you tried to say Elliot was going to average about 10 points and 10 assist did not come close average about six points if that anybody should be able to shoot when no is on you, you should be able to hit at least three or four in the row most of the big men only averaged four points to five points game is OK to say I hope someone do this or that but y’all too love to say they going to do this and they gonna do that. And they did nothing last year trying to hype them this year.🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Issac is sleeping on Ven Allen lubin a lot of people are , he is a beast he has proven to cook good 7 foot bigs and do work in a good ass conference with not good guards to feed him , he has Elliot and rj and Ian

Washington defensive presence underneath vs opponents bigs...determines all...trouble with weight physicality & mobility a big problem I fear! Hope not...go Heels. With 5'11" and 6 foot starting guards rebounding on both ends vital!

Yes, technically every winner of every game outscored the loser.
I just mean they attempt a pace the opponent cannot keep up with to mitigate post defense deficiencies.
If the case, then guys like Tyson with his shooting and pace setters in their guard play are bigger factors.
But your point of Washington is quite valid.

@@Kream180 - it’s not ideal but they can do some damage against good teams if their shot is falling… it’s just not as consistent of a formula without the rebounding. We’ll see-big year for HD.
We have more offensive fire power and talent this year last year wansnr even a very talented team
I’m with coach/ I think drake should start
EC's 3PT and overall outside shooting is the biggest x factor for this team, IMO. Washington's ability to play solid major minutes is next. I assume he ate many sandwiches while lifting a lot of weight as that is key for him on D. These two make the necessary improvements, this team will be a contender.

Rebounding will be crucial as UNC has always been one of the top rebounding teams in the nation
I'm hoping Tyson does great but always in the back of my mind can he make the step up to major college basketball
Hell yeah he definitely can he was too good for the conference he was top scorer and freshmen of year , three point shooting like that doesn’t really change when he’s consistently 45 percent from 3 for multiple years

I agree but it’s much more difficult for short guards not a 6’8 lengthy guy with a pretty quick release
