I appreciate the comment. I’ve got many more videos ready to be edited. It’s a matter of making editing and posting more of a priority. Challenging when running a gym, but these positive comments help inspire. I’m always happy to share!
      More coming!

I’ve been training and sparring for nearly 30 years and he did a few things I’ve never seen before. Great control. Very unorthodox. And given his thorough competition experience, clearly effective.

I’ve never sparred but I feel like light sparring is fun but also hard bc of the self control!

It’s definitely the most fun way to train. It does take tremendous control to executed the strikes with technique and speed but hold back the power. He and I are experienced enough to know that if anything lands, it could be the end. I do not need him to smash my skull to know it could have damaged me in the real fight lol. Gotta save the brain for the fight! Play sparring all day!

    In my utmost humble opinion.
“ Nothing more rewarding than getting ones thesis validated by those who exceeds oneself in excellence”
Impeccable and sublime techniques, and the only place I’ve seen the bend- over backwards overhead back punches is in drunken boxing 🤣, and he actually managed to pull it off against someone as high level as yourself, truly is an testament to the Chinese proverb:
“ Everything works once” As in acquiring the mindset to never disregard anything, as long as it is based upon proper fundamentals, in concordance with one’s ability to appropriately adapt ie “ Learning the form but seeking the formless” Then even how nonsensical a movement may seem, as an setup for other techniques, such concepts do have their place, ie timing is the essence of everything.
Again an honor to be able to observe and learn, i came over to your channel after watching you and Mr Jeff Chan spar, and I’ve noticed how your dexterity, evasiveness and kicking proficiency is such at an high pristine technical level, it is indeed truly beautiful to behold.
    Sincere regards.

@@TheSurgeMMA The pleasure and honor is truly mine 🙏🏻.
Again sincere appreciations for taking the time to reply so kindly, as well as, your willingness to share so that we all may be able to learn and improve, I know how much work it takes not only to film/ edit, but producing content as well as getting your training in, is an full time job indeed on top of everything else that demands your attention, so again, this is not something I take for granted sir. 😊🙏🏻.
