The pain to have to use your own fingers and search the game your self because a link wasn't provided
Another way to 'store' water. The cooker holds 20 units, I've used that to store clean water before the game near literally has me swimming in empty bottles. There is no 'pattern' to the insect catcher, just a % of catching what that lure is able to get. You just had two lettuces before a moth by chance. Bit of advice, picking up something generally 'counts' as scanning so you don't /need/ to scan everything. After all, scanner batteries only last so long and can't be replaced. Tool charger will be needed and making is a bit of a chore early game so going on a 'scanning spree' would force you to make multiple scanners which is a bit of a waste of materials and storage space until you get the recycler (which is much later and RNG based.) Later, you get an upgrade station and can make two modules for the hand extractor, but can only actively use one. I recommend the recharge over the capacity. While the capacity module gives you something like an extra 15 charges, it also increases the time to recharge (both the amount as recharge will still only fill 3-4 units) and in the number of 'pumps' to get a charge. The recharge module shortens each successive recharge cycle until extractor is full so from empty battery to full still takes three cycles but the first takes 2 second, the second takes 1 and the third is near instant.

Love this game, im actually a backer of the game and have my name in the credits. Its come a long ways since launch. Now that folks can play multi-player its even more fun. Finding the cure and healing myself was so satisfying and fun. So much to explore and discover, and they have combat with allien life forms, be very prepared for that. Hope you do a complete playthru Z. You wont regret it, and you should try multi-player with some friends. The game will progress much faster. Have fun.
