- Bike trip 2021 has begun! It's not Denver Colorado, Utah, Arizona or New Mexico but it is still our bike trip 2021! We are staying in Ontario and will be riding some beautiful roads. Our first part of the journey is on the Chi Cheemaun Ferry from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island!

Ya…gorgeous! LOL. I’m riding along looking at this rainbow 🌈 in front us knowing full well, where there is a rainbow… there is rain! And we found it!!!! Missed out on the pot of gold though.

I've never been that far either! Looks like an odd place to do the ferry stuff. I haven't been on a ferry in ages! Used to go on them a lot in the San Juan Islands Washington. They're fun, we used to watch the dolphins. Have fun.

LOL! The closest we got to the USA was seeing it from the shore!! Next year when we aren't "grounded" and can't cross the street to go play we have to go check out Mackinac Island!

I hope you enjoyed touring in my stomping grounds lol. The Chi Cheemaun has always been my favorite boat to go on, and take the motorcycle. I wanted to do that even before I started riding. The boat was a lot more fun before covid and can hopefully return to it's former glory soon. It was so nice to sit in the dining lounge, enjoy a coffee, tea, beer, whatever and watch the islands and water for that 90 minute tour. I did the Algoma grand tour this summer up there and definitely plan to do it again.
Thanks for watching. I missed the dining room for sure. But this time I just sat outside and enjoyed the ride while Bonnie took a walking tour. She had never been aboard before. We will most likely take our boys up next year for the crossing and some geography lessons.

It's a tiny little Ferry compared to the ones you have out west! Reminded me of our trip to Vancouver Island!

Beautiful area! We enjoyed the ferry ride, brought the straps from our trip out west, I think we were on every kind of ferry you could find out there, huge ones with restaurants and shopping to tiny small cable ferries to cross rivers and lakes. The ride up to your cottage will be full of colour soon! Can't wait to see some of your fall rides! Thanks for watching!
