Its funny how songs are imprinted in our memories. I was listening to this album back in summer of 2014 during a 3 weeks road trip around Norway. Now this song always brings back memories of misty granite mountains, endless forests and dark fjords :) It is a very soothing and welcoming memory, like the song itself.

I’ve never heard of this duo before and Apple Music hit me with it when I was dealing with the worst break up in my life. It has such a presence of peace, acceptance, sympathy and love and it was the turning point of me starting to feel better about myself as a person. Thank you Angus and Julia Stone for your incredible lyrics, voices, and ability to create such an atmosphere to be consumed in while I listen. This song is the hand on my back in a tough situation telling me that everything is going to be okay 🙏
Saw them live yesterday, her voice is SO different when she sings and when she speaks! She purposefully sings in the voice of a "kid" I guess. But what the heck, it sounds great :D
