    Great video! No lousy music, just the sound of whitewater. I kayaked the Miracle Mile with Dr. Griff over 20 years ago.

    That first rapid was only a class 3? Crap, I'm not as good as I thought I was, after seeing that.

    The American Whitewater Association rates this stretch as class IV-V for normal flows.

    I really want to get into this.. What gear do I need specific brands? Also, how do you find a group to go with I'd never go alone due to safety reasons..

      1. Join a club. 2. You don't do this until you are really good. 3. Most people go down pool drop rivers that have calm pools after rapids so you dont swim for miles in case of a wet exit. 4. Start out on something easy and work your way up.
