  • Brittany breaks the #1 rule of buying and selling vehicles... This wasn't supposed to be a flip car and I ended up falling in love with this Rambler Wagon. Daniel gives an ultimatum; I can either sell my 1962 Cadillac that was my first old car and the car we got married in OR keep the Rambler. Watch the video to see how it all happened!

This is really sweet! Very excited for you! “I really love how you nonchalantly say one day I was just eating lunch!”

First of all, I would like to say that it was a pleasure meeting y'all. It warms the heart seeing young folks taking a serious interest in preserving these old vehicles. The reason we purchased this Rambler was exactly what you said. We didn't want to see it go to the crusher. It is an extremely rare vehicle and not only that, it has every trim piece still on it. God works in mysterious ways because we really had no plan to sell it. We put it on Facebook pretty much just to see if there would be any interest in it. Within 30 minutes of it being on there, we got the call. Y'all came right down here and purchased it. We are so happy to see it getting the love and attention it deserves. Thanks so much guys!!! You are the man Cliff, you also did your part in preserving this wagon. The process just took 5 years to complete the loop and get to the right people.

Thanks Cory. It was actually a 2 person effort between the owner of G.M.C., Chris, and myself. We just couldn't see it going to the crusher. Cliff@@corydriver7634

Thank you, it was nice meeting you guys as well! We try to save as many as we can! I am so excited to have the Rambler and get it back on the road. We are working on getting the brake system sorted and hope to be driving it if all goes well in the next week or so.

    Dear Brittany and Daniel,
For me as a big fan of Cadillac it’s always a pity that such a car will be sold but at the other hand for you it’s business so WIlleke and I hope you’ve made a nice profit with the car. The Rambler wagon doesn’t look too bad and it’s good that you got the car running and driving. After the cleaning the car is looking good for her age. With us nobody will drive such a car with all the areas where the paint is gone although we know it’s not rust. In Europe most police cars are forcing you to go aside of the road for a check because it looks kinda rusty. This happens with every often with a car like in your vlog so a trip from Amsterdam to Brussels par example needs a lot of extra time only by the look of the car😀.
We look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands

It is a little sad but we've had 4 Cadillac's the same era in the past few years, they are cool cars but not too hard to come across here. We haven't came across any Rambler wagons so this one just really caught my eye and I fell in love with it. That's interesting, it is very different here in that aspect. There are vehicles that have huge rust holes in the bed/cab or other areas that just travel along.

Thank you for sending that to us! It seems to be pretty healthy. We are now working on getting the brake system sorted so we can start driving it on the road.

Our parents owned it 20 years earlier traide it in to a dealer in ct..hippy days my brother and myself needed a car . the car our parents traded in was still in the same parking space as it was so many years ago.we puchased the car back for 50 bucks.new battery the ole gal fired right up.there is more funny stuff but heck that car was perfect.

I have not read all the comments, but it is a 64 model, not a 63. I have owned and helped refurbish two 64 Classic sedans. The Classic and the Ambassador were the same car with differences in the trim level at that time. It is a great chassis. Perhaps the best big car chassis that AMC ever made. There a three or four main AMC parts vendors. Dozens if these cars are being parted out even now. You can also get things like brake parts from places like Rockauto or EBay too but do your research and get the service manual so you know what you need. I have a 63 Classic wagon now as a restoration project and we might pick up another one next month.

That's really neat! We haven't came across many AMC people, it's a unique car. We picked up a service manual shortly after we got it to have if we needed it.

Luckily we live in America where everyone can have their opinion. I’ve ran into plenty of men that wished they had a wife who was supportive of all things automotive and went on adventures with them. I’m very blessed to have Brittany in my life to do these things with me no matter the weather or time of day.
