Mel! Yes ma’am Sydney Grace sure did change my eyeshadow world, and I’m 50 so I have used a lot of eyeshadow. Eyeshadow is my passion, my favorite part of makeup and makeup is my therapy but as I have aged my eyelids have become crepey, wrinkled and textured. The Pressed Pigments are magnificent because they do not accentuate any of those issues, the Mattes and Shimmers are beautiful as well and practically blend themselves and I love the Loose Pigments too. Their highlighters are my favorite on the market next to only Natasha Denona’s Super Glow. They released a setting powder in July and I picked up the shade Light, I rotate that powder and the Hourglass Veil. Those two are the only loose powders in my collection. I heard about Sydney Grace in January in Lisa J’s Facebook group, I took a leap of faith and placed an order and I have just about stopped buying mainstream eyeshadow palettes, since January I have purchased 5 mainstream palettes and I bought Vintage Rose from Give Me Glow. Everything else I have purchased has been from Sydney Grace. Their customer service is phenomenal, Heather and Laura are both awesome and have answered my questions on Instagram and by email too. I bought my first SG shadows in their Christmas in July sale. They live up to the hype. They have a range of textures from true satins, through to traditional (softer) shimmer, to foiled and of course mattes. I got a huge variety and not a single dud. I am however highly critical and have one criticism: they need more colours 😁 ... hang on 2, they need to be available in Australia without the horrific shipping. They have perfected the mattes, they are so smooth, no fallout, great pigment, wear well, pastels that are not even remotely chalky. Yep I will definitely be buying more.

I’ve been resisting pat mcgrath eyeshadows. Just cause of the price. But I recently bought Sydney grace ones. And I’m totally on that train. ❤️❤️ love their shadows and their customer service is awesome too.
My undereye also have issues most of the time with concealers. Sometimes when I think I've found the right concealer, after a while my undereye is just not having any of it... and I'm tired of trying new concealers and powders again.. I'm gonna try that becca one you recommend :)
What a great video. I did a side eye when you first said Dyson because I thought you were going to say the hair dryer. Yes a humidifier is a great investment for anyone. OMG as soon as you mentioned "ok guys, the day has finally come" I immediately thought "omg dont even tell me she finally found a replacement for the La Mer!!!!!" And I was right.🤣🤣🤣🤣 I bought the By Terry after Michele's video and, yes, I have never seen or felt a powder as amazing and beautiful as that one!!!! AND I'm super oily, but it just makes my skin look glowy without looking like an uneven spreading of grease after my oils inevitably break through!!!

I thought I couldn't use powder again because all of them aged me and did more harm than good to my dry, mature skin. Then I ordered the By Terry ( in 200) and it is the only powder that touches my face. Absolutely a game changer. Worth every penny -- and it is a lot of pennies!
@@suzymanville232 thats awesome. Ive had similar issues and I tried the newer brand believe beauty from dollar general and the concealer and powder are great for under my eyes. The concealer is low medium coverage but it dont crease and make me look older same with their powder. I really wanna try the by Terry powder though alot of people have said its good.

I definitely agree with you on Pat and Sydney Grace shadows because they are incredible. I've been going back and forth on the Becca eye primer but I really need help in that area and I value your opinion so I'll give a go. Other game changers for me are the Elcie makeup sponge because I am a brush girl but that sponge made me love using it for foundation over the beauty blender or anything else. Also, Cover FX face products from foundations to concealers to the custom cover drops and setting spray. Those are HG products. Oh and thank you for talking so much about the By Terry primer and powders because I tried them and now it's a permanent part of my collection.

I recently started using the Charlotte Tilbury corrector. The texture sold me too! I'd been using the Tarte corrector and have tried a few others. Totally agree - nothing else compares! On a light makeup day, I use just that for inner under eye and outer corner. I don't need to add concealer or set.

My biggest game changer is Japanese (Fude) eyeshadow brushes. I haven’t found any other brushes that feel and perform like them. Cut bristles (like orig Mac 224) felt painful on my sensitive eyes, then I found Wayne Goss brushes. Cotton soft, picks up and blends shadow with ease🌺

After watching your video on brushes, I could not believe the difference I got with Path McGrath shadows by changing brushes; I was floored. I used a fluffy brush before I watched the video and I didn't get any intense color; everything looked washed out but when I switched, I was shocked at how much color I could pick up with little effort.

Yep. They really are that good. I bought some in the July sales and I am so impressed. So smooth, blendable, buildable, pigmented and the pastels are not remotely chalky (which is some kind of magic)
Hi Mel! On your recommendation, I have been using the Becca undereye primer, the Mac Skin Refined Zone and Tarte Timeless (orig) for a couple years and they have all changed the game for me. Key words: smoother skin! Another game changer for me has been Goss and Sonia G brushes. Unbelievable difference in shadow application! I take your advice very seriously and you have really helped me up my game so I guess that makes YOU Mel, a game changer for me as well! 💕

The Becca under eye primer is an everyday must for me, even if I’m not wearing makeup it still wakes up the eyes and gives me a well-rested look :) and I also AGREE that I need Sydney grace to make some more palettes! I have gone to her website sooooo many times, start picking out shades that look amazing and then I end up with $200 in single eyeshadows, feel intimidated and then end up not getting anything even though I really want to try her formula....it’s so hard to tell tone and true color online and I’m just a snap shot....I loaded my cart and the missed the timing to check out with her Black Friday deal :( and 1000% would love if she would keep making equivalents to ND shadows because even though I do love ND, sometimes some colors are super patchy on me and I’m not sure why. Wayne Goss brushes were a big game changer for me! Great tools make every product better-even if they aren’t the best quality, tools are such an investment and make such a Huge difference :)

I have a Air Innovations humidifier that’s great. I use a Brita pitcher to clean the water so that I don’t get the white dust (mineral deposits in the air).
The By Terry rosy light powder is exactly what I have been looking for to set my under eyes. I will be happy with only that. Like you, the original darkened my concealer so much - and made it orange! But the tinted ones are amazing.
I live in the desert and have 2 humidifiers going at all times. I can attest to Mel's comment that the distilled water bill is high. So I just bought myself an early Christmas present. Hello Dyson Humidifier! Can't wait. Love everything on your game changers list!

Mine and my daughters nose bleeds during winter to. If you put Vaseline on a qtip and put it up your nose and rub it around ( idk how to really explain but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say lol) actually put it up there it’ll help so much with keeping it moist instead of dry up there.

That’s 100% true. Some shadows work best with certain brushes. I’ve seen it myself with other pallets not just pat mcgrath

I live in SW England, it's very humid here in the summer (80-99%) and cold and damp in the winter. Down here, we don't need humidifiers at all...

I thought I couldn't use powder again because all of them aged me and did more harm than good to my dry, mature skin. Then I ordered the By Terry ( in 200) and it is the only powder that touches my face. Absolutely a game changer. Worth every penny -- and it is a lot of pennies!
@@suzymanville232 thats awesome. Ive had similar issues and I tried the newer brand believe beauty from dollar general and the concealer and powder are great for under my eyes. The concealer is low medium coverage but it dont crease and make me look older same with their powder. I really wanna try the by Terry powder though alot of people have said its good.

I definitely agree with you on Pat and Sydney Grace shadows because they are incredible. I've been going back and forth on the Becca eye primer but I really need help in that area and I value your opinion so I'll give a go. Other game changers for me are the Elcie makeup sponge because I am a brush girl but that sponge made me love using it for foundation over the beauty blender or anything else. Also, Cover FX face products from foundations to concealers to the custom cover drops and setting spray. Those are HG products. Oh and thank you for talking so much about the By Terry primer and powders because I tried them and now it's a permanent part of my collection.
I agree about about different shapes and density on the brushes gives different effects. I have zero problems with Pat M matte eyeshadows.

I recently started using the Charlotte Tilbury corrector. The texture sold me too! I'd been using the Tarte corrector and have tried a few others. Totally agree - nothing else compares! On a light makeup day, I use just that for inner under eye and outer corner. I don't need to add concealer or set.

My biggest game changer is Japanese (Fude) eyeshadow brushes. I haven’t found any other brushes that feel and perform like them. Cut bristles (like orig Mac 224) felt painful on my sensitive eyes, then I found Wayne Goss brushes. Cotton soft, picks up and blends shadow with ease🌺

For your nose bleeds in the winter, you can get a nasal saline solution and spray it in the nose and it helps keep the membrane moist.
I am so appreciative that you mentioned about ABH coming out with more shades for their primer. I tried it and liked it, but I don’t do colorful bright looks everyday.... and I want something to match my skin tone. And those Sydney Grace cream shadows are out of this world.... 💕🥴

After watching your video on brushes, I could not believe the difference I got with Path McGrath shadows by changing brushes; I was floored. I used a fluffy brush before I watched the video and I didn't get any intense color; everything looked washed out but when I switched, I was shocked at how much color I could pick up with little effort.

Yep. They really are that good. I bought some in the July sales and I am so impressed. So smooth, blendable, buildable, pigmented and the pastels are not remotely chalky (which is some kind of magic)

Hi Mel! On your recommendation, I have been using the Becca undereye primer, the Mac Skin Refined Zone and Tarte Timeless (orig) for a couple years and they have all changed the game for me. Key words: smoother skin! Another game changer for me has been Goss and Sonia G brushes. Unbelievable difference in shadow application! I take your advice very seriously and you have really helped me up my game so I guess that makes YOU Mel, a game changer for me as well! 💕

The Becca under eye primer is an everyday must for me, even if I’m not wearing makeup it still wakes up the eyes and gives me a well-rested look :) and I also AGREE that I need Sydney grace to make some more palettes! I have gone to her website sooooo many times, start picking out shades that look amazing and then I end up with $200 in single eyeshadows, feel intimidated and then end up not getting anything even though I really want to try her formula....it’s so hard to tell tone and true color online and I’m just a snap shot....I loaded my cart and the missed the timing to check out with her Black Friday deal :( and 1000% would love if she would keep making equivalents to ND shadows because even though I do love ND, sometimes some colors are super patchy on me and I’m not sure why. Wayne Goss brushes were a big game changer for me! Great tools make every product better-even if they aren’t the best quality, tools are such an investment and make such a Huge difference :)
I also use the CT color corrector on my cheeks where I have rosacea and anywhere I have dark spots and it does wonders!

melissa pintone I uses to use it every night, now I’m doing maintenance so I use it 4-5 times a week. I pair it with my vit c... vit c goes on first and then I’ll only add a moisturizer around my mouth if I get too dry there ❤️

I LOVE That Anastasia Beverly Hills eye primer, I can't use it because it is WAY too light for my skintone, so I'm hoping they release more shades. I have a Air Innovations humidifier that’s great. I use a Brita pitcher to clean the water so that I don’t get the white dust (mineral deposits in the air).
The By Terry rosy light powder is exactly what I have been looking for to set my under eyes. I will be happy with only that. Like you, the original darkened my concealer so much - and made it orange! But the tinted ones are amazing.

ND is great, but talk about babying a shadow... ugh, if I don’t use a certain primer they don’t last on me.. I do appreciate them, but there are so many other brands I prefer.

Mine and my daughters nose bleeds during winter to. If you put Vaseline on a qtip and put it up your nose and rub it around ( idk how to really explain but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say lol) actually put it up there it’ll help so much with keeping it moist instead of dry up there.

Awww I feel ya on the swatches lol.. Its always so difficult to mess up those beautiful pans.. But luckily her shadows are pretty firmly packed and I have used mine many, many, many times and it still looks good I always clean around them when I'm done 😁😁
