This unit is legit. For the price point this is going to blow up the entire market! Victron, battle born lithium, 1400 watts of solar and 12” of travel air suspension! Pause and ROA are changing the industry. I would love to see heat and cold weather test.
Thank you for your time at Overland Expo, Shane. You and the RoA Family continue to show that you genuinely care about the most important aspect of the business, the customer. I very much appreciated the open, honest discussions with you and Josh. Looking forward to becoming a member of the family.
Hat’s off to you guys; these are proper review/walk arounds. From the perspective of ambiance & lowered interior humidity…a fireplace would be great. Our next “rig” will either be a Pause or one of these 👍
Would love to see a window in the kitchen behind the sink. Smaller units feel so much bigger with more windows. But that might require moving the outside ladder. And get those outlets some USB-C plugs!
Hey ROA! I love that you have gone white on the Caravans! Having a 2021 Black Series caravan has proven to me that black is not sun friendly! No air conditioner can keep up in the direct sun beating down on a black surface when the temperature is above 85f.
@@louishendricks-tv1sx Yes. It is also the material that is used. The Blacks Series is made with aluminum exterior and aluminum studs and aluminum interior. Aluminum is one of the greatest conductors and that’s why they use aluminum to make radiators. The heat conducts right through the aluminum of the Black Series. The construction of the Pause has fiberglass and composite foam insulation and then aluminum mostly inside not touching outside. It doesn’t conduct half as much so you’re not fighting heat transfer.
Great job show casing the stripped down and loaded version. Can one order the upgraded furnace/water heater but delete AC all together. Think they will do a 16.4 version single axel? Now that could be built fairly light?
Also Shane my man how come you cannot influence Maynard to drop the black tank in the Pause and re boot. This could be a decision that separates them from all other Elkhart built rigs. They could go dometic cassette in stripped down reboot and something nicer for loaded re boot.
@ShawnM8 thanks man. I will contact them if they come out with 16.4 reboot but until then I don't want to bug them. I would imagine the upgrade would not be to crazy but not having that black tank at all has to lighten the trailer. I am guessing they would turn the black tank to fresh or gray but I am all about light weight and after investing in an expensive rig the word " mod" turns me off. I don't mean do it your self mod because of your personal needs but dealer installed mod before you can even use the trailer.
Not bad rigs but I would not trade in my X 195 for one. I love the oven microwave in the pause and the 12vt refrigerator. Does it have a single compressor or duel compressor? My X 195 has more solar and battery power. Oh, yes Induction cook top. Induction is much better than propane to cook with.
The imperial has 1240 watts and 1080amp of experion batteries… Right? The Reboot has up to 1400 watts and 1080amps of battle born with Victon. Victron vs GoPower? You’re talking cheap vs the best. X195 is cool but the power system is disappointing compared to Pause. Not sure why you think x195 has more power? GoPower also doesn’t compare to Victron. The 3000 watt Victron inverter could power an induction. This unit I think retails loaded at $115k what did you pay for the 195?
@@joseph4x463 I do not want to start an argument but yes the Pause can upgrade to 1050 lithium batteries and can add 2- 600 watts of portable solar panels. I do love the 3000 watt Victron inverter. I have the same inverter in my other trailer. No rig is perfect. I wish I had victron components but in the past year my X 195 has worked great. for us and we camp four seasons in very cold Central Oregon and Northern Nevada areas. At the time I bought my X 195 the Pause was a hell of a lot more money for just a lot of bells and whistles. At that time it was the best choice for me and I still think for my use the best value.
Do the windows have screens so you can keep them open without bugs getting in? Also, does the sink have a traditional garbage disposal and stuff? Definitely considering getting one of these one day!
@@ROAOffRoad Gotcha. Do you know if future versions might have garbage disposals? Also, I'm excited about future versions possibly having a washing machine and dryer. Would make it near perfect for full time living!
Garbage disposals aren't super practical in RVs because of the pipe sizes, and you'll be sending that food down into your gray tank, and it can causes issues with smelling.
@@ROAOffRoad Thank you. What is the life span of these trailers, as in, how long to the materials made to build it last? I guess I'm wondering how long I would be able to use it for (not for serious off roading or anything like that, so less wear and tear probably).
@@jun50326 Depends on how well you take care of it and do all maintenance. People have cars that last 20-40 years when they are garage kept and well maintained. Some people do no service and the car is beat up after 10 years.
Great video as usual 👍👌Excellent model , the best that Pause has ever designed so far 🥇🏆. I have 2 questions: 1 : It would have been more convenient to layout the Dinette/ Sleeping Booth on the driver side and the kitchen galley on the opposite passenger side under that big window . This ensures more convenient In & Out handling while cooking either inside or outside . So a mirror opposite floor plan is highly appreciated…is this possible ? 2: Battleborn Batteries are excellent, but not the best now in amp hrs per footprint/area . Now you can find 450-650 Amp hrs batteries which can fit in the same area, but giving twice the Amp hr capacity and hence staying longer for Aircondition operation and other heavy loads . (Polinovel , Lithionics and Volthium from Canada are good examples). Is it possible to choose one of these batteries? If this is solved , I think am ready to place an order 🤝
Talk about attention to the details: that Maynard’s team designed these rigs with grommets for the thru holes at the cabinet panels and for the toilet water lines for additional protection speaks volumes. If they’ve worried and paid that much attention to the small stuff, then I don’t have to worry as much about the big stuff.
Curious: Why isn't this recommended for full-time living, especially if you're fairly stationary and take good care of it? Seems like it's built with great materials (but I'm new to this, and curious the ways in which the materials are not suited for full time living)?

Love the new cabinets!! They’re beautiful!!! 😍😍😍
These trailers are a great value if you ask me, wow!!
Great in depth video, really like the new locking cabinets. July can’t get here soon enough!!
Thank you! Excited to see the new units landing. 😀
Great video, answered alot of my questions.
Great to hear!
Love this tour and the off road testing videos that just came out! Pause and ROA are pushing the boundaries like no other manufacturer and dealer!
Love the updated cabinets and love the floor plan. Looks like a great balance between luxury and affordability
Do you have this fully loaded with generator and outside kitchen 4 seasons ready to go in SC
How about a water miser option for the shower….is it possible to add this feature
Shane, a solution to the toilet paper unrolling during transit is to add a spring-loaded plastic piece over the top of the roll.
A rubber band. Fixed.

Love this floor plan! So spacious

I wish it had bunk beds but this is an awesome rig.
They have a bunk model, check out the Reboot 19.6
What is the roof constructed of under the solar panels?
I sleep on a NECTAR . 8 inch pretty good price maybe good standard for the RV.
@ROAOffRoad any plans to do a full tour of the Pause Reboot 19.6 ? Would love to see it !
Yes, we did a longer walkthrough (not quite a full tour) at the show last week! That video will be coming in the next couple weeks :)
Beautiful trailer
I am so excited about this RV.......Gotta get to Greer SC to see one up close. Any in Phoenix AZ, that I can tour in person?
We will be at the Overland Expo in Flagstaff next weekend with this model and more if you can make it there!
@@ROAOffRoad How about Redmond, Oregon??
Yes. We will be at Oregon. 😀
If you do the middle solar upgrade will it run the AC? Or do you have to do the full solar upgrade?
It will work on all levels, different levels determines how long
Does Pause have any plans to put grab handles in the bathrooms/shower stalls for people who have mobility issues?
We could do this by request. 😊
I’m buying one with all the bells and options except for the counters due to weight and the bed raise.
This trailer is the best

Does the Reboot have an option to add the Starlink hookup like the one yall put on the Roamer 1?
