Case Background: Madeline Soto was last seen on February 26th, 2024. Her body was found five days later in a wooded area less than an hour from home and her mother's boyfriend was arrested. Stephan Sterns's phone revealed disgusting evidence of what he has been doing to Madeline since she was at least 8 years old. He has been charged with her murder and over 60 CSAM-related charges and faces the death penalty, if convicted.

Debra Sterns told the detective that she told Jenn it was inappropriate and she was too old to be sleeping with him or both of them! Jenn ignorance and neglect is mind blowing and sad that there are other kids in this situation that nobody knows about.

I dated a woman who's mother did something like this.
For years she denied knowing what was going on in another room with men. When the mother finally confessed the truth.
It was like a weight was taken off the woman I dated shoulders. For years her own mother gaslighted her about it. It made her feel crazy like she couldn't trust her own mind.
Unfortunately in this case I think the mother will get away with this. Because people don't want to believe a mother could knowingly and willingly do this to her own daughter. And they'll stick their heads in the sand, put their fingers in their ears and ignore the obvious to hold on tight to that false belief.
So just like in the comments here. The future jury would make all the same excuses for the inexcusable as you regularly read on this cases videos.
Any mother who would let her 13 year old daughter or any age female child sleep with her and her boyfriend and even sleep alone with him should be charged
She better be charged because theres a woman in jail right now for protecting her kids against their abuser.
Keep in mind we are being generous every time we say “13” not that there is a meaningful difference, but fact is Maddie was 12 and under right up until they stole her life.

Also, sounds like Jenn and Stephan abused prescription drugs and other substances. When a person is on psych meds you are not supposed to use illicit drugs even pot.
Something that came to me today was this "mother" could've given Maddie the master bedroom she was paying for already and Jenn could've slept in the living room herself😡 If anyone should've been in the living room it should've been Jenn and Stephan. What good parent would want their child sleeping in a makeshift room while they get to have a huge bedroom to themselves? She was a teenager who needed privacy especially being a girl. Even if we remove Stephan from the equation it's negligent that she would have her child sleep in the open like that when living with roommates.
She didn't even shut the door to the bedroom because of the cat, she definitely didn't need it. I would sleep on the floor before I'd let my daughter sleep in a make shift bedroom in house full of strangers or "roommates"
I wonder if Jen is lying about her father wanting to rent that room. I bet he thought Maddie had bedroom #4. Then they would have to arrest all mothers who are told by their children that they are being abused and who do nothing. This would open the floodgates and they would have to build more prisons. Maybe that is why they are not arresting. Also, for the children who live and whose mother is in prison, they would have to go to foster care. As you know, there are few good foster homes even now. If you want better social services like this, you would have to vote for the guy who raises taxes, which no one wants to do. People are scared of reporting abuse too since everyone has guns over there. But the gun control guy can't win elections either. So americans will just complain on youtube and things will remain the same

My son passed away in 2002 at age 21 unexpectedly. I had seen him 2 days beforehand, and I tell you - I remember what he was wearing, our last words to each other, what time of day it was, what the weather was like. I do not believe this woman, she should be behind bars as well.

What blows my mind is I would remember every single detail on the day my daughter went missing.
That’s how I knew Murdaugh was lying: he hand waved the last conversation with his son and wife. When you lose someone, especially in a shocking way from my experience, the last moments you had with them come into very sharp focus. I still remember the last conversations I had with the people I loved that died suddenly. I’m sure I remember the less shocking deaths but they aren’t as etched into my memory like the untimely ones.
Jen is a pathological liar.... And wen she speaks she thinks carefully before answering.... She is not spontaneous in her answers... She coincidentally never can remember things... She should be put into prison for neglect and her part in her precious child's abuse. She is not innocent at all and presents herself to be very much disfunctional. We demand justice for Maddy

I don't know how any detective interviewing this woman could not come to the conclusion that she was compliant in the abuse her daughter suffered and she needs to be in jail.

This is the prosecuting office I think. Maybe a detective present but they investigators with the State Attorney. So they know the laws and if there was a law that they could charge her with they would or they're using her to nail Stephan

Who said they need her testimony? She was only given immunity for this interview. Any lies told in previous interviews would be forgiven going forward. That is the immunity she got. That is all. Open your ears. And it's not even the prosecutor, it's the local police department and their detectives.. The prosecutor has zero say in their interview tactics.

When asked about Maddy's night time routine, Jen said, "Ummm, that did not occur on my call", as if she is a shift worker instead of Maddy's mother.
Also she hesitates for long periods of time before answering questions and then begins with, " I'm going to say...." as if she's a contestant on a game show hoping to guess the correct answer .This woman needs to be jailed for failing to protect her precious daughter from that monster.

She thought her daughter missing periods was normal. It is not. I have a daughter. She would come to me if that happened. I would take her straight to the Doctor.

I worked 12 hr nite shifts and got home, got both girls ready and drove them the 5 minutes to school although they could’ve caught the bus. I would even go have lunch and go on field trips just to see them.,it’s a choice. I wanted to be with them but a lot of people are selfish, self centered don’t have a bond with their kids. My own mother was a hard core psycho, she was a pioneer in NPD. I never wanted her around me so it worked out. 👍🏻I think Jen sold her soul just to have a bf , jobless and homeless.

I can't imagine what the text about "I can't risk it" means other than something horrible and evil. And if I had sent a text like that I damn sure would be able to explain why I wrote it! @@annebosworth7048 They did. Law enforcement discusses the immunity deal during the interview with Jen along with her lawyer. They advise her that she's not in trouble for any previous inconsistencies HOWEVER she will lose the immunity if she lies about anything from this point forward.
The matter of fact and casual way she answers these questions is beyond disgusting! She doesn’t show any emotion or care that her daughter has been murdered.
This interview is the most infuriating piece of evidence to dste. Even with immunity, it's "I'm going to say" or "I don't recall." She is the most pathetic excuse for a mother.

Justice is a concept for those who remain. Maddie is gone. Now, it's just a transactional process in the system. It is infuriating and galling.

One thing that has been heavy on my heart is that Stephan’s dad said he was getting a bunch of packages with his toys etc. He has no idea where Stephan was getting the money bc he wasn’t working and dad wasn’t giving him any. @@mallori6610 Of course he was allegedly selling photos and videos. In Jen’s April interview she mentioned she cancelled a $350 botox appt the afternoon she was to pick up Maddie. I think they were BOTH allegedly benefiting from selling SA vids.

Ok funny story .. I actually did once. This was in 2016 with my old Samsung note phone. It was in my pocket and it triggered the fingerprint or pattern id or something to unlock the phone and hit the limit where it auto factory reset. Granted that was a while ago and supposedly his phone was new and they've put in preventions since then... But it can be done. And I doubt he did it by accident... Just wanted to say it's not entirely impossible 😅

Why give her immunity? The police don’t need her for a conviction of that creep. And she pretty much handed her daughter over to SS mostly because she’s lazy and neglectful and didn’t care about her daughter. Terrible mother 😠

My husband passed away in my arms in 2004. I remember EVERYTHING, I remember the Levi shorts he was wearing, the tank top, the blue underwear he had on, the Reeboks he was wearing, the last meal he ate, we made my parents dinner, pork chops, mashed potatoes, lettuce outta my parents garden w/ the pet milk, sugar & onion sauce over the lettuce. The very last thing he ate was a brownie that we shared after dinner from the corner store. I remember the last words he said to me. My parents passed away in 8/2014 &15, I remember my dads last meal b4 he could no longer eat, he wanted my homemade sweet & sour chicken but he wasn’t feeling too well so I made him tomato soup instead, the last movie he wanted to watch was the sniper, but couldn’t stay awake to watch it. The last place I took him (his dying wish) Firekeepers casino to gamble. The day b4 I took my mom to ER she spent the day at Lake Superior, I can tell you exactly what my mom was wearing the day I took her to the ER (teal capris & a flower top), her last meal was steak, summer squash fried in cornmeal, baked potatoes & salad. Last thing she consumed b4 I took her to the ER was 2 glasses of milk, once she got to hospital she ended up in life support & was in there a month. I can tell you what I was wearing when all 3 of them passed, so for a mother not to know these last memories of her baby the last time she saw her is, is very questionable!!!

Thanks for noticing the fact that she was under the influence. I know they were prescription, but Jenn, Stephan (sadly including Maddie) were taking many meds. In many of the interviews, lots of the "I" word and then all about HER meds. Stephan was the same, talking about his anxiety, his meds... agghhh, this case makes me so angry. Both adults were so self-centered.
